- Well who would have thought photoshop editor is more difficult than making a video! Here you have it folks: the worlds worst thumbnail picture to advertise this video.
This is a recap of my first summer in the bush. I cut through all the nitty gritty of the year and show a sped up version of building something fun and quick.
Back up to the property soon. Many more videos to come !
Cabin River Outdoors
Glad to see you back!
I'm looking forward to seeing you weekly. Great content!!!
Looking forward to the new episodes!
Well done sir, those stairs could hold an elephant .
There is no rush for Quality! Keep doing what you are doing and I look forward to your future videos. You're doing a great job! Stay safe!
Still with you brother, stay safe and well.
I keep checking your channel to make sure CZcams isn't forgetting to suggest it to me!! Can't wait for the weekly videos!!!
Can’t wait…looking forward to new content 👍🇨🇦
What a great build, dang, that front wall was a beast to lift and you got there!!! You’ve got everything you need and it looks damn nice, the stairs are pretty sweet. Thanks so much, very much enjoyed every second!!!
Yes, looking forward to watching weekly, great reminder of just how far your property has come already.👍
Glad you're back. Looking forward to the upcoming videos!
Nice job! Looking forward to your weekly postings. I do watch a lot of CZcams people/stations such as yourself. I don’t even watch regular TV anymore. There is so much junk on reg tv to be honest with you. my point is you’re a good guy to watch, you do a good job with your postings and your content is just great. I know you’re just sort of starting out, but I think you could be really well at the whole CZcams thing.
What a great little cabin build . Simple and suits your needs.
Keep it up, I’m gonna try and convince dad to go up there!😂
Hopefully one of these days bro
Looking fantastic. You are a hard worker. Welcome back
AWESOME!!!!! Can't wait to see your progress on the land! May the 23rd can't come fast enough!
Me too..he’s such fun to watch from the safety of my chair..love love love his videos and wishing I were young enough to go do it !!! Now watching his older videos to get caught up.stay safe and god bless..
Yep, you had to take us to the nail-biting front wall of the cabin a second time. Talk about edge of your seat suspense! Great video and we are looking forward to the weekly content.
This edit of raising the third wall made you look way better than the original edit. Our little bonus for watching the other 10 I guess 😂
I really enjoyed the recap. Great job on splicing the videos together. You showed all the key elements of the build. I really like the simple design single slop roof is always easier to build and keep water tight. Also the porch roof design looks great and is very practical.
Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
looking forward to the weekly!
Nice job on the stairs ! My Dad came from a family of carpenters and his specialty was oak spiral stairs, before the days of power miter boxes. I like how you swing the hammer, one of the first things my Dad taught me was, it's all in the wrist !
Have thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far, your winter scenes are so far removed from what we experience here on the NE coast of Queensland Australia!
Looking forward to it brother
Glad to see your back. Have missed your adventures can’t wait to tune in each week.
Great to have you back at it! Stoked to hear you going to do a regular video schedule.
Looks really nice in a wonderful setting.
Wonderfull
I'm happy for you.
a peaceful video to help me through finals. thank you.
Awesome brother can't wait for the weekly uploads. Watching from Norfolk Island Australia!
A FIRST RATE CARPENTER, AND HE IS A PRO WITH THAT HAMMER.

Looking forward to see your videos on a weekly basis 👍👍💪💪
Cheers from Switzerland
Excellent job. I'm impressed.
Very nice cabin…. Enjoy your new place!
Awesome plans and video. My favourite content to take a break from the world
Was wondering where you been, lol. See ya in two weeks.🍺🍺
Your videos always inspire my desire to build. These tutorials will be of great use with my soon to come off grid homestead.
Yahoo a birthday present for me. Lookin forward to all your new videos.
That was a dandy. See you every Thursday.
This is my favorite type of content! And I have a feeling you are close to where I live. Looking forward to more videos. I especially like that when you hit the nail sometimes the camera shakes. Makes it seem like I'm actually there, except I can't help raise that bugger of a wall! 😂
love it!
Looking forward to seeing more of your content!
Nicely done mate 👍
Hang in there good brother.
Kickin azz, great work
Maybe recycle the logs from that old cabin. Could make a great cabin extension
Yes glad to see you back you are a hard worker it’s looking good
lol... from the thumbnail of the video.. I thought you painted the cabin pink...
can't wait till you are back on your land full time.
Haha. Ya, I really need to figure out photoshop editing
Good fast forward recap. Looked easier this way. Lol. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
Have you plan on how to source water / power in your "cabin"? otherwise, you're just inside a dark box at night with no bathroom or kitchen. Souces of water: could pipe from the lake or build a device to collect rain water. Re: power, could use solar or wind to convert to electric, both are free. Third option, hydro is another option for power. Re: rain water collection, you just need water filters and uv lights to clean the water. Hope it helps.
I have a simple water filter system that I'm getting in a few weeks. Straight from the river. Battery operated
Hello from drayton valley alberta

nice : )
Really picturesque space you've got there mate, nice job, how's the fishing? All the best regards from here on the West Coast side of Australia 🌏🇦🇺🙏🖖🤟🐨👽
Thank you for the words. Fishing is really great when the water clears up late July onwards
You make it seem so easy. Great work! Promise me you'll take necessary steps to better position your stove, including backdrop either using rocks or metal -- my first husband was a fireplace installer -- yeah, I learned how to install those puppies in my early 20s, pretty syre regs are still the same. Fire safety first :)
"sure" oops
Indeed. You're right. That stove was very temporary for a few days. Proper installation this year. More cabins to come
Well, it doesn't look like the steps will break anytime soon!
👍
Why is May 23rd taking so long to get here!!!???
🤙🏽
Red Rose tea, dear?
Would an old pontoon boat be better for transporting all the building supplies?
A pontoon is better for sure. New-ish boat to come this year
Anyone Can Build This Simple Fun Cabin! Could but won't lol. Can tell you're not married !
Lol
