No it is not required. It can show without connected to phone with internet also.

Maps available on any smart watch if so which one with always display on
Maps are fully available in Wear Os watches.
in mine gps is greyed out in compass although it shows the altitude and air pressure and also in walking in workouts there is no prompt for gps lock and in app it is showing no map data available even though I have granted all the permissions. Am I missing any setting?
Make sure you have updated the Zepp app and also the Gts 2 Mini watch to the latest version, also if issue persist unpair and pair the watch again. And to check whether you have a gps issue, once go for a walking workout without your phone, if gps is not getting activated reset the watch.
Can the running data recorded in watch be linked to mobile apps?
Yes it can be linked and synced to mobile apps.

Hi i have gts 2e and the gps does not position what to do? Should i return it like it look 3hours to charge and start the battery is behaving very weird maybe it is because it was packed to 2years in a box?
Make sure you have updated the watch to the latest version, also unpair and pair the watch once. If issue is not fixed there may be a hardware issue, you can visit nearest service center to fix or replace.

Plastic body. Unfortunately finding lost watch via Gps option is not available.
Is there any setting to adjust the sensitivity of lift to wake feature?
Right now there is no feature like that.

Gps positioning for Workout activity not working on my Gts 2 mini. Though compas is working. Any Idea how to troubleshoot the issue???
Gps positioning detection works better if you are outdoors and also if there is a clear sky, make sure you are outdoors and check whether gps positioning is successful, if not unpair and re-pair the watch once to check whether the issue is resolved.

On my GTS 2 mini the compass is working fine, but it's not showing the GPS option as you have shown in your watch
It depends on the model of Amazfit GTS 2 Mini, also for GPS lock it needs to be preferably outside room in a clear sky. Try to update the watch and try using the Compass option. Also during starting workout the GPS lock will happen.

how can we view the map we walked after the workout ?
You can view after the workout in the workout history, or just when you have stopped the workout. It will also sync with the Zepp app that you can view in the workout history of the App, if you are facing any issues let me know.

It works better in good weather with clear sky, i will recommend you to update the watch and app to latest version and once unpair and pair the watch with your phone.

Just unpair and pair the watch once, also GPS works well when you are outside your home under open sky, and also in clear sky, if issue persist let me know

Yes it is good and the step count accuracy is also good in this watch. At the same time a lot of workout modes are there to match your workout preferences.

GTS 2 mini GPS is useless. The slightest tree coverage will lose signal. Whenever I go for a hike or trek, my distance reading is always wrong because the GPS cut in and out. My friends' Garmin and samsung watch records distance about 50-60% of mine. This GTS 2 mini GPS is wrong by a big margin. I don't recommend it. Just yesterday, i went from the carpark into the forest entrance. It took me 4 minutes. The GPS tracked 1.2km! This watch thinks I am Usain Bolt?? Who the h3ll can walk 1.2km in 4min??
Yah it does not have accurate Gps, thats why they improved it in Gts 4 Mini. Although other aspects of the watch are good in the budget.

Gps works well in open spaces and clear sky, so it may fail if you are inside home.

Nope, Gps is an inbuilt feature and it only turns on during the workout modes and also compass app use, apart from that it turns itself off to conserve battery.
why is there no activity for golf
Not every activity is there, although you can use Alterna activities which are similar to Golf.

Come out of the house and try again, it works well in open areas. If not working, unpair and pair the watch again and make sure you have updated the watch and zepp app to the latest version, and try again once.

@@lakshaysingh2 Nope, Gps positioning lock will only activate while doing workout and activating the workout mode.

Yes it can in workout mode.
Pathetic customer support for this watch, they have only one service center that too is not with the walk in option, you have to send it there through courier bearing cost your own.
I dropped it acidently after a week of purchase, and the screen broke, though the watch is working perfectly but the broken screen took away all the elegance that earlier shown with this watch. And i know replacing the screen gonna cost me half of the watch's worth.
I didn't know that it's screen is so fragile, plz review any tempered glass for this watch, if available.

There is no option for gps in compass!!!
No right now there is no different option of GPS for the compass in this watch.
