Considering the ATEM Mini Extreme felt like an aprils fools joke too when they announced it i wouldnt have even questioned blackmagic if the went all in on the ideas you stated lmao
Funny thing is that on the TriCaster line vertical video session IS a real thing (and yes I have used it)

What about the reliable 1000m wifi connection with absolutely no latency to vertical cameras (smartphones)?
I heard it provides tally, intercom, ccu and pan/tilt control.
BMD is also working on a 2D to 3D conversion firmwareupdate for ATEM mini.

Hey Doug, hope you are doing well . My question is, I have a 1ME Atem switcher and when I tried to listen to the audio coming from preview port it gives me pgm audio not the preview audio , what should i do
The Program audio is the only audio feed that video switchers produce. There is no “preview” feed.
If you need more complicated audio capabilities you’d be better off building the mix on a separate mixer and then sending that into the switcher’s audio inputs.
You are an amazing typist. That was like 200 wpm!
It takes years to learn the "alternately smash the left and right side of the keyboard" technique.
I heard you will be able to plug in your Stream Deck thus bypassing Companion and\or just macros.
The same plug-in adds NDI support too

6:02 Interestingly, the recorder deletes files after 24 hours,... which is a rather odd choice. Not like the odd choices of which models do/do not get a usable media pool after power off. 😆 11:14 I guess this is a pretty "early" beta. Indeed. 👍
