Planet Aqua Group and Shreveport Aquarium staff explore and discover what an average day is like working in the Louisiana crawfish industry in this amazing episode of Backyard Bayou
I knew Mr.Daniel was a star on Swamp People...he & Troy are my two favorites...but I never knew Mr.Daniel had such a MAJOR OPERATION, from providing bait to all the fisheries around the area, to providing crab, catfish, shrimp, gator meat, & crawfish. Mr.Daniel HAS GOT IT GOING ON!!! Go get 'em Mr.Daniel...don't let up on 'em...don't show 'em no mercy!!! Much love from Mobile Alabama.
@@peterc504yep, this is the same guy. On swamp people. There's only brief mention of his crawfish ponds and St. Mary's seafood. I enjoyed seeing this. Happy to see he's doing well.
I used to go fishing (actually once) with Danny and one of his sons back in the early 80's in the Southwest Pass. He was a skinny young man back then, and a very nice guy himself.
Back in the early 70's we use to go down to Bon Secour, Al. and buy seafood right off the trawlers and shrimp boats. Go back home with a couple of hundred pounds of seafood, clean the fish and get the pans and pots ready to have a cook out Saturday afternoon and night. Man those were some good times!!!
Born and raised in Texas, thank God for Louisiana. Love seeing my family there, they have a different way of life than any other state I've ever been too
No he not he made swamp people a bad show and oh yeah from New Orleans so don't tell me shit about the swamp!!!! I been doing this all my family from them areas so stop it
@James Rhodes I will respect that and what you saying but ask yourself don't it just feels boring when the cameras switch on him I mean it's like he take the fun out of the show yeah I understand that at the end of the day he richer than them because he is I mean the man own a lot of shit lol but when troy Lee are even Willie Hunt it's more exciting than him its like he have problems with his family but everybody else just having fun

I love seeing interesting videos made in our home state of Louisiana!! So many people don't realize how much work and time it takes the seafood and crawfish to get to the point where we can buy it.
Dam that is one of the best humble hard working CEO ever! Dude straight up will change anyone’s life around with his words. He def isn’t in it for the money but for his passion and people.
When I lived in Jackson Mississippi I went to Venice every other weekend. Best catching/ not fishing in my Life. Ducks in the morning, redfish, trout, flounder in the afternoon. Loved it.
Mr Daniel is as friendly as Mr Landry and as smart as they come. He's a great man that's for sure. Always smiling, people always think people in the deep south aren't smart, well they could never say that about Mr Daniel.
I am a born and raised New Orleans, my Mother side is from that way which we call Acadiana or Bayou country, I still stay in New Orleans. Very proud of my heritage.
Awesome, Excellent documentary, well presented. I salute the CEO of the Company and,Reporter who did an excellent job in explaining and showing the entire process from catching to distrubation to the plate. Well done!
I'm from the Midwest, waited my life to crawfish. Spent last year doing homework in Henderson LA for this year . I built my boat and it's ready , the flood waters have slowed us down but we leave KS sat morning to fulfill a dream and crawfish the Atchafalaya swamp basin.
@@scottward4316 , yes I did . It was a true experience, I got my commercial fishing license and put out 100 traps . 34 got stolen and the crawfish traps got robbed every day . Going back to Finnish the season and hope to break even . I'm hoping to start a utube channel and share my experience.

A little advertised fact is that if you move down here and work in the harvesting of bait or even on a fishing charter baiting hooks for customers, you can be called a "master-baiter" in a very short time. 😁
(Sundance) Good ,hard working people. Never been there but if buying the product helps the people there, then im buying any brand that has Louisiana on it.
