This recipe hits home but in Iraq we brush the fish with pomegranate sauce or tamarind sauce before broiling/grilling... do away with garlic in favour of coarsely chopped onions and add raisins to the ginger, salt, lemon, and black pepper mix.

I'm prepping up a small piece of Lake Trout for my dinner as I drool over the vast selection of saltwater fish you have at your fingertips. So not fair. This is easily my favorite saltwater channel and a close second is Sammy Hitzke. Love the variety of specimens and the approach you take getting after them. Gulf of Mexico is amazing because of the selection of species. When I lived in Florida, I'd find monsters in knee high water. The hard part was the level of difficulty due to the variety. Where I grew up on Cape Cod, you can catch mostly anything with a live line and a lot of the same tackle.
Went fishing today, got skunked to death. Watched this video and I feel much better and motivated to keep fishing another day. Thanks for the 5 star content Stephen!

I really like watching you Catch, Clean, Cook. It is not the same kind of fishing, but it reminds me of fishing with my Grandma and Uncle. They taught me the 3 C's with many species. We were meat fishing in those days to stretch groceries, and I loved it. Please keep it going!
That BoBo getting eaten by the AJ is the coolest and most organic footage I’ve seen. I’ve had sharks do that but I’ve never seen on CZcams a AJ being a complete savage on camera. Awesome content brother!

I'm not familiar with a Rainbow Runner but when you sliced it for Sashimi, I knew that I will have to try it. I could live on good Sashimi. That looked awesome. Sliced, it looked a little like Yellowtail. I don't think I have ever watched a better fishing channel. You aren't just a fisherman, you could be a Chef. Your seafood cooking skills are over the top.Then to top things off, you like Sashimi. It is packed with protein, and important fish oils. Not many folks down here like it. I've been eating it since it became a part of our "food Pyramid." That is more than 35 years for me. I'm 75 yoa and still alive and eating Sashimi.

I've been on so many party boats and even a few charters and none of them are anything like what I see on your videos. I caught one king on super expensive charter and my turn was done. I'd be content with just fishing in your back yard. Unfortunately I'm stuck with catching the elusive decent size sea bass off the piers of New Jersey. God Bless you brother. Steve, You all down in Alabama have an incredible saltwater fishery...the variety is fantastic and there is nothing like fresh fish you catch for a meal...I love having Stripe Bass cooking Stripe Bass over charcoal...with a nice tomatoe and cuke salad and homemade garlic bread...a meal would not be complete without dessert, so I do a Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread Sunday, you pick the toppings...Cheers from Maine.
