    • @htmt07
      @htmt07  Před rokem +1

      Thank you very much.
      Just use a small dab of any grease. It's just there so the Gasket doesn't drop down. As soon as you start the engine the first time, all of it evaporates.
      So don't use too much of it. It might do damage to the Catalytic Converter.

      Ja, das Fett ist ganz normales Fett. Das soll da auch nichts schmieren, sondern nur bewirken, dass die Dichtungen bei der Montage kleben bleiben.

    • @htmt07
      @htmt07  Před rokem +2

      In camparison to the stock Euro 5 exhaust, it's a big difference. But it's not really loud. I try to explain as detailed as possible:
      With the stock exhaust, I could only hear the engine up to a speed of roughly 70 kph.
      With the Akrapovic the wind noise drowns out the exhaust note at about 110 kph.
      I use to have a Roadsitalia Thunder Exhaust, where I still could hear the engine at 160 kph (but that was obnoxiously loud)
      My Helmet is a Skorpion Exo 1400 Carbon.
      If you want a high value exhaust, get Akrapovic or SC Project, if you want more sound, go for the cheaper (but also very nice quality) Options.
      But remember, depending on the country you live in, you might get in trouble with the authorities 😉.

      Yeah, mine is for the 2021-20xx Euro 5 Version. I like the Akrapovic for not being Obnoxiously loud. I had a Roadsitalia Thunder mounted first and hated it for the annoying noises it made 😂.
      But I got to say, I was disappointed by the finish on the Akra Headers. Scuffmarks and dents all over the piping. Defenetly not what I expect for this price.

      Seen videos where people go full ham without torque wrench so around 10+nm shouldnt be to bad 😊

    • @htmt07

      But the flange is supposed to be slightly curved, if you mean this. You can see also a curve on mine arround the 9:00 and also at 14:30 marc.
      This makes the bolt appear slightly bent as well.
      I don't know if I would leave the bolts overtorqued, though. To much stress plus a lot of heatcyles might weaken the bolt.

      Panda is technically not wrong. If they leak, due to dynamic Pressure, fresh air could get sucked into the exhaust. Since in this case it happens in front of the O2 Sensor, the ECU will enrich the mix. So you consume more fuel. If your engine runs very, very rich, the excess fuel could wash the Oil from Pistons and Cylinder walls, which can result in a blown engine.

    Over 1000 euros for a system that doesn't sound much better than stock, weighs close to same and gives you barely any real world noticable difference in power. Not a good purchase IMO. At least take the dbkiller off, then it's a night and day difference.

    • @htmt07
      @htmt07  Před rokem +10

      But then it's not legal anymore and on the first police checkpoint, they confiscate the bike and I have to take a taxi home. I'm okay with the bike not making a lot of noise

      I disagree. The exhaust is still lighter and better looking than the stock Tin can.
      And there is a difference in sound.

      @@htmt07 There is yeah, just not a difference of a 1000 euros. How do I know this? Because I have that exact system, just EURO3 version, which is more loud.

    • @htmt07
      @htmt07  Před rokem +2

      I agree. There are louder exhaust systems out there, which I owned before. I mentioned that in another comment already, but the other brand was so loud, I felt embarrassed to drive around like this. That's why I went for a quality product, that gives me (a little bit) more noise, less weight and better materials.
      Is it sensible to buy a 1300€ exhaust for a 7000€ bike?
      Defenetly not.
      Do I regret it?
      Defenetly not.
      In fact, I would do the same thing again, except for buying a cheap exhaust before buying a good brand.

      I'm not going to. I can't be arsed to deal with police every time i ride.
      Even though it might still meet the legal limit of this bike (what I doubt), it's still an illegal modification that voids the registration. Different Countries work with different laws and punishments

      I totally agree. The sound of it is not really what I like. I already wrote that in another comment. I had a different exhausts first (Roadsitalia Thunder) which made it even worse. But seriously, the sound is not, what this bike is about.
      It's nimble, has a torquie engine and it's quite cheap compared to other brands.
      That's why it's one of the most sold motorcycles worldwide.

      @alwayshigh0291 Because the exhaust is way to loud and the sound is absolutely stupid.
      It literally sounds like one of those lawn mower tractors with the Roadsitalia.
