Great mod. Got the same kbd and make also tape mod + foam mod. Sounds amazing. I also switch Glorious Fox Red Switches to Akko Jelly Black and… now my keyboard is perfect.
I also made hole mod stabs and put some bandage tape under the spot, where stabs hitting the pcb.
Totally full in love in that kbd.
After that I put pudding keycaps. ❤

I mod my gmmk 2 65% (pe foam and tape mode) and I couldn't fully close my board anymore. You can see some openings from both sides where the lights are in. I'll try to fix it again and I hope I can fully put the top part perfectly.
how many layers of foam and tape did you add?
@@PJVC 1 layer of pe foam and 2 layers of tape. The keyboard works perfectly fine but It won't fully close (both sides). I first thought it was because of the cable that you connect into the pcb.
@@ITZnJeans If that's the case maybe you should reduce on foam. like the case foam if it has some because gmmk compacts have a thin casing
@@PJVC I was planning to remove the foam in the bottom case. I wish it would fix my problem.
yes this is what i was looking for, sadly i already bassically destroyed my board in hopes off making a good mod, yes i did the pe foam and tape mod, it just didnt reach my satisfaction

@@PJVC well now ive built 3 boards now and im currently using an akko mod 008 with box inks v2 and domikeys hush keycaps
