The Howling Commandos on Krakoa incident could make for a nice MCU horror movie. Something like a blend of Annihilation and Blair Witch.
I was always curious about Krakoa's origin, and I knew it would be crazy, but I wasn't prepared for it to be that crazy. lol.
From a story standpoint, living in Krakoa opens up so many potential stories for the X-Men than the X-Mansion ever did. Having all mutants living together is a great way to keep stories fresh and new.
My first X-Men comic was the X-Men Special Edition that reprinted Giant Size X-Men #1. So Krakoa was the first X-Men villain I ever experienced. Such an incredible story of a unique character.
My suggestion for a future video is the Alpha Flight member SASQUATCH.

First for new information on krakoa
I absolutely enjoyed and appreciated this video. It had some great information about Krakoa that has been recently introduced to us through the Krakoa Age of the X-Men comics, as well as some information that I, myself never really knew.
Anyways, thank you so much for this wonderful and awesome video. I also do apologize for the tardiness of this comment, but I forgot to check the new posting last night, before going to turning in for the night.
I'm not sure if this a hot take but I hope that the MCU reboot doesn't begin at the Hickman run, that idea kinda goes against Professor X as a character. If Xavier's whole goal was wanting humans and mutants getting along, why does he rule a society where mutants live in secret this whole time (which is ripping off the Inhumans), that's why I hate the idea of Xavier using his power to gut out humanity's memories of mutantkind and that justifying mutants not being mentioned at all for many years.
They don't live in secret. There is nothing about Krakoa that doesn't fit into Xavier's ideals.

It was actually explained by Cipher that Xavier and other Psychics can’t actually understand Krakoa’s thoughts because it is speaking a foreign language. This is interesting because Krakoan later became the lingua franca of mutantdom- possibly implying some innate benefit to the language that future mutants understood when contributing to the creation of what would become Krakoa

Hoping that you do a video going over some of the characters like Blackheart after the Marvel vs Capcom fighting collection comes out because I never knew he was a marvel character.
I think I liked it better when it was just simply an island created from nuclear testing. Not all these retcons upon retcons.
Wasn’t the mutant signature part of the story the whole time? It would’ve driven me crazy if they never explained that.

@@Joseph_Drew_III IIRC, when Krakoa debuted, it was at the time of when mutants were born from the Atomic Age with no x-genes or other later retcons, so his original origin made sense.

Man the Krakoan age was a fantastic time and it's soooooooo sad to see it go just for regression story lines.

Didn't Ex Nihilo already terraform Mars in Hickman's Avengers?
Wasn't it undone once he was defeated? Isn't that the reason the new Iron Man/X-men villian feilong hated tony cause the avengers could have had a terraformed mars, but let it go and that eventually let the mutants "take" mars
These new writers are destroying canon and just making up things based on what’s being pushed at that time. The MCU should be a learning lesson to them or the growing manga.

I prefer this Krakoa than the modern one.
Krakoan era X-men along with Avengers BC has turned all of Marvel continuity into nonsensical and unconnected gibberish. Really have to consider post Secret Wars (2015) a separate universe.
Too much time travel, too many Omega leveled entities in Marvel anymore. Too many universe destroyers/creators/interdimensional players. Worst of all, the ressurectors. When death means you can still be just somewhere else. Daredevil (superhero) vs Kingpin or vs Peter Parker after an Enchantress encounter. Not Satan and Christ reborn again and again and again.
Writers not knowing what to do and making up stuff is what led to this.
Easier to overpower than to outwit
I think there is around a dozen mutants that are omega out or tens of millions. How is that too many?
Omega leveled mutants are just the example. Think about all the omnipotent beings, with the capability to destroy entire universes or realities. What does it matter if blank is dead we.can clone/rebuild/ressurect, go to a parallel, search the pocket dimensions and find our hero or heroine again. Where does it go once the living tribunal is bested? Just create an elder race to the elder race that has been waiting for 16 millennia for the time of Doraga to rise in a secret galaxy placed between 14thousand ancient time/space portals, some never tried or tested due to the ancient evils associated within. Meh, Galan should have all of us for lunch. In essence as Mr Johnson said, weak writing, writing themselves into corners, writing without foresight...goodbye golden age of comics forever.
No offense, I got to 2:20 and I'm out. It's the current Marvel continuity, not the video's quality.
