Unfortunately PC plod you failed in your duties and your attitude was disgusting. If I acted like that within my role I would be hauled over coals. You could have easily printed off a copy and handed it to him and said that he can’t leave the station with it and must be returned. A copy should be left readily available and the printed copy could be laid under the front desk for people to read.

@@Ploddingalong67 thanks so much, I'm definitely intrigued to see the outcome although I've a feeling it will be suspended on full pay then retirement on full pension and zero criminal charges. Him being gone is great but it's a very very small victory overall.
I've been in a couple of very minor crashes. Definitely helped me to take a bit more care on the road. Glad to hear you're already back behind the wheel.

Loved this. I wonder if all auditors should be handing out appropriate paperwork at cop stations. You really nailed this. TBH, the flaw is that you'd probably need a suitcase to carry it all in, such is the variety of their ignorance of the law they are charged with upholding.
On a more serious note, I wonder if you are the man to bring all (or as many as poss) of the UK auditors together in an intimate & private forum. Gives you the opportunity not only to discuss, plan concerted events, support each other, share hints, tips, legal docs, etc. I suspect there are a lot of off-camera relationships already, but the more, the merrier, especially to the more inexperienced members. Fancy it? If you or someone did exploit this opportunity, I would ask one favour - to bring police officers' complicity in these upsetting incidents auditors face almost daily. Letting a tyrant have free reign - especially illegally - should be treated as though the complicit cops be reported / sued too, along with their lawbreaking chums. To me, complicity is a conspiracy, visibly organised on the hoof, which overlays the underlying police force conspiracy (i.e. blue line gang, Masons etc.).

@@Ploddingalong67 Thanks for reply. Key thing is that I believe you have the qualities to formalise & lead (or be a leader in) the PINAC movement, in whatever format is best. Even if it's a private FB group, or preferably something more secure (can you see how far out of my depth I am, technically - & that's after a career in IT!!). We're being beaten as the movement is presently so disparate. I believe all auditors should carry documentation to prove their rights, which hopefully would reduce the number of arrests.

I'm ok with this format, give me chance to ponder what's taking place. Each video is highlighting their response and openness on the abuse of a child. They have clearly committed a violent assault the whole police force if they are covering up. No ifs or buts. 🐽👆

You are mistaken there is NO LEGAL requirement to provide a take away copy of PACE. However you are allowed to be given a copy to read on the premises and return it to the police.
Not mistaken at all. I asked for the legal requirement namely, that it is made available. They failed to do so. I did not ask to take anything away, I asked that they comply with the law. They did not.

@@Ploddingalong67 my comment was meant for john brently not you plod, as you see on different channels ex police giving themselves away by their comments. Probably they're sat on their bone idle backsides checking out what the public think of them. Most auditors videos from all over the country shows most police cars and Van's are in parked up in the station car park. Some auditors wait for ages and not all the time do you see any leave the station. They,ve got really lazy since we were made to stay at home during the plandemic, and they were getting a monthly wage for doing zero.
