  • This crankcase vacuum is difficult to find and repair without removing the intake manifold but procedure works without removing the manifold.

    i have to replace this on my x3, it broke the exact same way as yours. i had no clue what this hose was called. thank you sir, i hope life is treating you well.

    Very common I'd suggest replacing everything which cost more money and time but least u wont have to worried about it in the near future

    What symptoms were you having before finding the broken hose?

      It actually ran just fine but I was getting a lean code that would come and go.

    Can you just delete that oil separator and direct input from head cover to intake manifold?

      I don't really if you can do that.
