In 2015 and 2016, there were protests on the University of Missouri campus, resulting in the Chancellor resigning, but the protests and disturbances effected future enrollment, students avoiding the campus, with enrollment dropping by 35% and closure of a number of dormitories and laying off employees.
I think about 400 employees were laid off.
The school tried to rent the dormitories on weekends to football fans coming to see football games.
There are likely to be serious consequences for these schools which permit campus unrest to continue, especially if students are threatened and/or humiliated by protestors and demonstrators.

It starts early. The Helicopter Parents begin lining up, to pick up their elementery students up a half hour before school is out, every day.
And there is at least a mile and a half of cars leaving after school is out.
So, the school buses are nearly empty.

If you’d take some time to go to the places where the wealthiest among us gather and talk to the service people who have to deal with them, you’d find universal distain for the trust fund kids, of all ages, they have to deal with. It’s hard to tell which is worse, the trustafarians they have to wait on or the trustafarians they find themselves having to work with who are killing time pretending to be industrious while they fulfill some capricious condition imposed on them by their parents before they can receive their full payouts. Until you do this you have no idea just what coddling truly is.
