      Hugely confused between a Gixxer 250 and Dominar 2019. I already ahve a 200 NS and there lies the dilemma.
      Dominar 2019 wud give me the same stance and is almost a similar looking bike. However, for Same money its giving a load of goodies and it seems to be a proper upgrade from 200ns. Though i am worried about the vibration, especially since my ns do vibe on a particular rev range
      While Gixxer sf 250 looks stylish, has a nice punch right from the low range, and the satisfaction of riding a full faired bike. And of course the refinement will be much better than a Dominar.
      Care to throw some light On my confusion?

    • @jerry2952
      @jerry2952 Před 5 lety +1

      @@shibadipdhar857 go for Dominar over gixxer 250 if you want a faired bike with almost similar performance like Dominar then go for Apache 310 because if you pick gixxer then it's gonna be similar bike performance like your NS. So either pick Dominar if vfm is your concern or pick Apache if you want a faired powerful machine.

    It’s a shame that you did not mention about the slipper clutch. Some like me would be interested to know your comments on it because I know that you’re the master of rev matching.. Hope that you will always insert slipper or assist clutch on other bikes that you’ll test in the future. I enjoy the way you ride the test bikes with rev matching downshift. Higher quality and volume on the exhaust would be great too when you ride. Thanks.

    I am not a fanboy but... I need to tell something....
    This is a single cylinder 373 cc engin... with a compression ratio of 12:1 (correct me if i am wrong )
    It is natural to have vibrations dont compare it with the more boring counterparts in the market...
    Even the less power full less displacement, more expensive bmw310 twins also have vibes...
    Vibes can not be considered as a major problem...
    Every one is considering it as an inefficiency of bajaj... it is not even possible for the Japanese counterparts to make a 4stroke single cylinder 35+ cc engine that has a compression ratio of 12:1 and does not vibrates...
    Adding to the point it is a rental motorcycle there is no sure it will have gone through good run-in period and maintananse

    • @iamstrell
      @iamstrell  Před 5 lety +7

      Thanks for your comment :)
      You are correct that a single cylinder 373cc will produce a decent amount of vibrations. But my suggestion was to do something about the vibrations which gets carrying on to the rider. I have to agree your comment on BMW :D . And this motorcycle has done run in period correctly, because they rent motorcycle after first service and I took the motorcycle just after the second service. I am neither a hater nor a fan boy :)

    as u said.. can anybdu really get 35 mileage in this bike.. I get 55-65max.. smhw in Hornet than people normally het 45 max... So is quite confused between D400 2019 and upcoming guccer 250 naked.. as price differcnce is 30k max.. but will be madeup in maintenance cost and mileage as heard D400 cannot give 30kmpl max. where as 250cc japnese can easily give 35 and 40+ like fz25 saving fuel cost in long run.. but if d400 2019 can give 35 then not much costlier as compared to 250 gixxer.. plz comment.

People love it and stare and reving it does turn heads...tiny compared to california home but for islands it is a great bike. Freeways we do not have more than a few miles here. Stop too hard and up against the tank go your balls lol which is painful lol. Comfortable and smooth and no vibration through handlebars and is a totally amazing low cost little rocket.

    The vibration is lot less and a lot better according to a lot of riders compared to similar single cylinder engines and similar weight bikes. The Upside Fork makes a heavenly difference. Unless we are nitpicking here.. 125-140 kms cruising is an absolute joy. The screws can be replaced with SS screws and a visor, handle bar raisers would make a world of difference. Also the MRF tires are pretty bad. Replace them.

      Thats normal. It open the rpm from 5.5k to 8k after 2000km. If its not opening, contact service center. Wishing you safe ride 😊
