We Traveled to Cavtat - A Secret Gem near Dubrovnik

- Hello Guys,
Today we are in our favorite Croatian vacation destination, Cavtat. This small but very pretty town is on the southern border of Croatia and Montenegro and is only 45 minutes away from Dubrovnik. We are in love with this place and enjoy spending time in this romantic small town. If you are considering making a day trip from Dubrovnik, we recommend Cavtat because it is nearby, but still far away enough to escape the tourist crowds. There is a water taxi every 30 minutes between Cavtat and Dubrovnik. Cavtat is an amazing place with great hiking trails, restaurants, nature, and crystal clear waters with small beaches. The Cilipi international airport is only 10 minutes away. It is the kind of place you will fall in love, and come back for sure.

Yes, it's one of the most expensive places in Croatia but again cheaper than Dubrovnik☺☺☺

The half built development next to "Civic Offices" still not finished then! The one and only building that spoils this beautiful old town. ...Any one know why its not progressing?

My favourite place....it's a shame it's became more expensive the last 3/4 years.
Mine too😀 Yes, prices went North, but that's now everywhere around the world, we rescheduled so many trips because it's not worth it to go, prices are ridiculous 😑 🙄

Is there any camping places or areas that we can stay in our camping van in cavtat or in nearby places?
Check out Molunat, which is south of Cavtat. I think they have auto campgrounds there Around 30 min from Cavtat. .
