I've had the AT Lp60x for a few months now and it's extremely easy to use and sounds awesome. I definitely recommend buying it
It is a great beginner table. Allows you to play records no fuss until you upgrade if you wish
Just don’t get a Crosley 💀😫
TRUE
Real.
Why
@linuperera9505 they arent great sound wise and will damage your records more over time, not to a noticeable degree until arround 100 plays tho. They're fine for starting out if your just looking to see if its something you'd like to get more into or are just into collecting more popular/commonly reprinted records.
I have a vicrola that costs me 170 dollars on amazon, will it last and is it good?
I picked up a 1970's record stereo system with am/fm, and a 8 track. The Record player sounds really good and came with a good cartridge
I'm from the 80's. I have a Technics SL-D2 with strobe. It is ancient and plays my vinyl amazingly
Love my SL D2 and don’t ever see a need to upgrade it, just had it serviced and I’m sure it will run for another 40 years
what about the fluance RT80?
I have the Fluance RT81 and it’s perfect
I did the 120x love it. Great call
I have a Rega planar 1 plus green grade, it’s great
I had a crosley and recently upgraded to a AT LP60x it works great and has beautiful sound 100% recommend👍
Got the Fluance Rt81 and never went back it is just simply amazing especially for the price.
What about Thorens and Lenco?
Yeah, the Audio-Technica economy table I own is pretty much indistinguishable in playback from my more costly Technics SL-1210GR.
both solid turntables. What cartridge(s) do you use with your Technics?
Are these all fine with "stock" equipment? Needle cartridge and everything?
Do any of them have built in speakers? Or do you have to also buy speakers…?
I ordered my lp60x today
How is it? I’ve definitely looked at it but some of the reviews on Amazon are making me weary
@@bwfchamp7 pretty nice sounds nice imp just make sure its in a good spot you can definitely get a lot better but its a very good starting point
What do you think of the electrohome montrose record player? I can’t find much about it
Omg I got that first choice 😍
I have a sears record player , 8 track player and radio all in one from back when my parents were younger
When you plug speakers into a turntable does the projected sound lose the vinyl sound you get with built in speakers or not if you know what I mean
Which one of these has the best sound & would say cartridge would work best through my Denon AVR S6650 Receiver that’s going to give me the best highs mid lows and everything I wanna hear from a record player out of all of these
I Will ordered a audio technica lp60x Ford christmas!
i have the sony and it is my first
Lp 60 is good, but lacks any kind of adjustability in terms of tracking force, anti skate etc. so it can be prone to skip on some records. So it’s simplicity can be frustrating at times, but overall it is still good quality. Imo for the price there are better options and you can even get very nice vintage turntables for less.
I just ordered the Sony PS-LX310BT! Glad it was on the list lol
Putting in my two cents. Have the audio technica LP60 before this new model. Still sounds amazing and plays like a champ. Got it back in 2013? So I agree with the upgrade being a great recommendation it will last you!
I have a Hitachi HT-12
what about Technics?
I agree with 2-5 but my 1st choice recommendation is 2nd hand technics SL-D range
i have that Sony and its really great. one time i listen with headphones via bluetooth, next time from speakers.. just great buy imo.
I started out with the LP60X And now have the LP120XUSB
The 60X is really good, i do agree that it has a very nice sound
The only complaint I have is the tracking force is light so it’ll sometimes skip if the record isn’t M+ or NM
I then upgraded to the 120XUSB mainly for the 78 RPM option so I can play my nicer shellac records safely, i like the 3 speed option as alot of modern TT surprisingly don’t have that.
Unlike the 60X its direct drive and you have to let down the tone-arm manually.
The only complaint I have for that one is it has a strong electric smell, sent it back to AT to get it fixed, it was ok for a month and the smell came back.
AT said a component was messing up, I’m not sure what to do since the smell came back.
so make sure to save your purchase receipt for the 120X!
Also the “set up instructions” for the anti skate and tracking force on the 120 weren’t very accurate
There’s a video on CZcams that goes into great details on how to actually properly set your anti-skate and tracking force
Hi dad... May I ask you about your opinion on Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO?
Highly recommend it!
Love my SL’s
So not the "Crossley Shite-O-Phone" then.... LOL !
and about Rega Planar??
I choose the at lp 60. Show tunes vinyl video plz next video plz????
I think you missed the mark leaving out TechDAS 😂
Yeah mate great recommendations let me remortgage my house quickly
I have the sony, very good 👍
How hard is it to just restore an old ass one?
Crosley C series, specifically C6 and up
Crosleys are a big no
I got the angels horn h019
RELOOP RP7000 MK2.❤
“For beginning!”
*All of them being 250$ to start.*
I have 3 records total! You think I have that kind of money to spend!
technics sl 1200 or 1210 mk2🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ill take my Technics 1200 with the Shure cartridge any day over these
You are comparing a $1100 turntable to $150-$400 turntables. No beginner should be dropping that much on their first table
Yeah fr a million times better than any of the trash he reccomends
@thegreatgloopy9591 well actually it's a good investment because with something like a sl1200 ur guaranteed to get resale value, goodluck selling the 150 bux trash one for more than 20 bux
Rega planar 1 has left the chat
Lol dude that is not for beginners
comment for later to look again
Records are for nerds 8track is for the cool kids
Already price jump on this.
Anyone uses u-turn??
So you know nothing - gotcha
I have had AT turntables - they were rubbish
Bro recycles the same topics over and over and over.
Nah. What you gotta do is buy a Fluance RT82 & then spend about $1,400 on upgrades & add-ons. That's what all the smart folks do for their first turntable.
You'll need:
an acrylic platter
a headshell that costs at least $150 USD
a cartridge/stylus that costs at least $500 USD
some isolation feet that cost at least $150 USD
a record weight/puck that costs at least $75 USD
a phono preamp that costs at least $200 USD
a linear power supply for your turntable
a 2nd linear power supply for your phono preamp
If you didn't go this route, you're in the wrong....
I want an LP-120, but I decided to choose an LP-60 cuz, u know, it's cheap
Better wait awhile and get the 120 because you’ll regret it when it’s time for an upgrade
@@mashi9693 ye
All junk
I'm not supportive of anything budget friendly
It's an expensive hobby reserved for those who know what they're doing.
Nah modern rubbish, get an old gramophone
No, because progress
i poo poo anything with digital routing, sorry....
They are crap!
Lenco?Rega?Project?🤔
I wouldnt even waste my money on my first one to be a cheap one. The turntables i use today is the same as i did in the 90´s. Technics 1200mrk7 and above models. These turntables will give people nothing but a boring period while you safe up for a more expensive one and better one. People, go all in instead of taking the easy way. Sound is better with better gear, period and fact.
