- The lethargic Tuatara’s diet is mostly made up of invertebrates. But their metabolism is so slow that they’re fine if they don't make a kill for a while-one meal can last them for a long time.

Wow, Leo is worried he'll die at 75, but this documentary shows he can reach 100 years old or more in captivity.
I am here because of the Netflix movie 🎥 “Leo because they look exactly like the character!
They said he was a tuatara, but they don’t live in the Everglades, just regular iguanas.
Well, he’s a cartoon. They always do things we don’t expect.
The Tuatara lives over 100 years. No hurry / No worry.
3 of them at my local zoo. Cute.
Another spectacular creature from Aotearoa. ❤
They're not just found in Aotearoa (Northland) they're found across the entire north island and at the tip of the south island too.
who’s here after watching leo?😂
Amazing creature, Canada
It's funny how a car that was made to beat production car records was named after such a slow animal
The World is about four and half billion years old
And this creature lives two billions!!!!!!! What a heck of a run and features!!!!! ❤
My grandad saved one that got badly wounded and nursed it back to health. These days you'd be considered a criminal and probably face jail or a huge fine because new Zealand has lost its marbles like the west.
2:00 they live well over 100 years and it takes them to the age of 35 to be sexually mature
Tuatara is in the reptile family.
Time is different for a tuatara.
Looks like an iguana
