𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
0:01 mount the XB LED angel eye on an Iris shroud
0:05 cut some of the shroud for the wires of the angel eye
0:21 stick it with contact glue
0:34 heat the headlight in a box for about 10 minutes with a heat gun
0:45 open the headlight
1:02 don't forget the screw on the backside
1:29 remove the plastic cover inside for painting it black (if you want)
2:19 remove the original bulb holder and spring
2:34 place the rubber ring on the projector
2:39 place the H4 adapter plate in the housing
3:00 mount the projector with the screw nut
3:07 place the Iris shroud back on the projector and connect it on the position lights
3:19 don't forget to clean the inside before closing the headlight
3:49 replace the plastic cover and heat the headlight for about 10 minutes again
4:57 check the looks

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:
Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
A true Bi-Xenon projector update is now possible for your car. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!
The latest high power Led bulbs will upgrade both the exterior and interior lighting system of your car. Led lighting is becoming more and more popular in the automotive market for obvious reasons. They have longer lifetime, use less energy and improve safety with their fast response time.

Hi, there are a couple of questions:
- Is it possible to preheat the same in the oven?
- You used an old sealant and did not apply a new one?
- What type of paint was used for the headlamp? Is it possible to paint with simple enamel?

- In general, 2 methods are used, with both methods, be careful and patient. Method 1 is using a regular oven. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. When ready, switch off the oven and place the headlight inside. Make sure that the headlight is not touching any metal of the oven by placing a cloth over the grid, for example. Leave the headlight in the oven for 10-15 minutes before opening it. If the headlight kit is not yet soft enough, put the headlight in the oven for a bit more time.
Method 2 is suitable for larger headlights that do not fit in a regular oven, or if your lovely wife absolutely does not allow car parts to be baked in her kitchen. A large cardboard box is used where hot air is blown through a heatgun. Make sure that the hot air of the heatgun does not blow directly to the headlight, place the headlight on small elevations so that the air can circulate properly through the box. We use a setting of 300 Degrees Celsius for 12-18 minutes / 1st lowest setting, depending on the size of the headlight.
- If the headlight is sealed with butyl, it is not needed to add a new sealant :)
- We used a heat resistant paint

thanks for sharing and explaining with all details. i wanna ask what type of bulbs used with tihs setup? I guess not a xenon bulb and ballast. Maybe a H7 type LED bulb with 360 degree lightning. Actually i wanna learn how is the performance of LED bulbs with these projectors. If enough for low beam on the road but not much high beam range maybe we can try. I believe HID is the best but i want to know how is the LED performance? Thanks for all.
Actually it is a xenon bulb and ballast. Led bulbs they don't have good performance in general. We've tested a LOT of Led bulbs, and the only thing good about those bulbs in general are the marketing terms, not their performance ;-)
Thanks for the detailed answer. I read too much descriptions like yours. In mid-range headlight technology xenon HID systems are the best i guess.

I'm installing one of it but i have a problem. I was trying to install led bulbs, so the led bulb only have +/- and my car h4. How can I conect the bulb and projector to the h4 car conector? Thnk you so much
Retrofitlab Thank you, i missed to tell that the bulbs are d2s type, so only have positive and negative conector. My car is h4, so I supose the third conector (hight been) must be conected with the projector's conector, but i don't know how to do it.
@@gjorba9467 You have two options: easy way is to find this connector; www.dhgate.com/store/product/hid-h4-hi-lo-bike-motorcycle-car-relay-bi/213537176.html This transforms H4 to H7 type with high beam connector. But xenon ballast wattage should be harmful for the car control center, better for using LED type bulbs. Second way to use a H4 harness cable. It transfers the energy directly ftom the battery so more safe than other but a little complicated: www.aliexpress.com/item/Car-Styling-H4-9003-Headlight-Booster-Cable-Wire-Harness-Connector-Relay-Fuse-Socket-Black-H4-Headlight/32838453046.html. You can use this with all options like xenon bulbs with high powered ballasts. Choice is yours.

What is the size of projector and the ring light?

but it's only for offroad use, in the EU!!!!
Dennis Nattkämper maybeif you put HID to stock old reflector. Coz it unevenly spreads the lights and HID bulbs are not meant for reflector. Projector is great way to evenly distribute the light and it works more than with HID bulbs
