- Get ready for the seamless search experience - we're thrilled to announce JetSearch 3.1 Beta with WordPress search suggestions functionality inside!
We need your help to test the widget before it will be officially released.
đĄ Remember: it is a Beta version, so it's not recommended to use on production websites!
âš How does it work?
The search suggestion functionality implies a search form where you can enter your query. As you start typing, our algorithm instantly fetches matching auto-suggestions from the database. They appear in a convenient drop-down list right below the search input.
You can now customize the search options block beneath the input bar to display popular searches, recent searches, or manually curated suggestions.

Looking for a way to implement an exact search in JetSearch: if user is searching for "book" - he will only get "book" and not "booking".

Hello, is there a Tutorial on how to create Hierarchical Glossary for CCT (Custom Content Type) like for example Car Brand -> Model -> Sub Model? I know it's easy for CPTs using Categories but for CCT using Glossary, I couldn't find any Tutorials. Thanks.
Hello! At the current moment, a glossary cannot be hierarchical. Could you please try to use Relations between Hierarchical taxonomy and CCT instead of the Glossary?

Hi, Is there a tutorial for mobile version ? I'd love to have only the icon in the menu and when people click on it, then it displays the search bar. Is this possible ?
Hello! You can put a Search Suggestions widget into a popup. So the icon triggers the popup where search suggestion widget can be used :)
Hey @@Crocoblock Thanks. I'm using that for the mobile version in the header menu. So a popup is not appropriate. I tried the JetOff Canvas Column which would have been fine, but when the site loads, it shows the search bar before hiding it, creating visually a erally bad effect :( Any ideas ?

Thank you for your feedback. At the current moment, it's a feature request to add compatibility of JetSearch with BricksBuilder. As of now, you can try to use plugins that create templates in Gutenberg, add our block for search there. Then insert that template in BricksBuilder.

Amazing feature, but what is the difference between this and the "search" widget of jet smart filters?
The difference is significant. First of all, Search filter should be applied to the widget which displays posts. JetSearch redirects users to the Search Results page to display the result. All features displayed on this video are new and not available in JetSmartFilters plugin.

At the current moment, it's a feature request. Hopefully, we will add the compatibility of JetSearch with Bricks in the near future. As of now, you can use plugins that create templates in Gutenberg, add our block for search there, then use that template in BricksBuilder.
Will this become available with JetSmartFilter search also? Please, this could make a great addition!
