Is it possible to use a different API key for map listings module (other than Google Maps API key)..?
The main concern behind this enquiry is that beyond a usage limit (number of API key requests) your billing account gets charged.
Since there are other free libraries out there, more appropriate for some projects ..it would be a good option to provide such feature/flexibility.

Hello! Yes, the Maps Listing can be used for real estate sites. As for the 2nd question, I'm not sure I got it correctly. You can use JetSmartFilters with Maps Listing and show on the map only the filtered items.
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to add conditions on filters? Example. If I want to search for villa's for rent in a certain city, all the villa's in that city, say city A, will come up. But say I want to check for villas in that same city, but also within 10 miles of that city. That would mean that villa's from the next village or city B, would have to pop up too. But in the back end, I need to set it that it needs to come up when one is searching within 10-mile radius from city A. But I can't just set that villa as to be found in City B as well as in city A, cause in city it may only pop up when searched with the 10 mile radius checked on. I can not seem to find a way. i hope my question makes any sense, it is just as complicated to explain as it is to set, it seems 🙃

If you mean Maps Listing functionality as a whole, of course, you can use React, Nextjs etc. to build anything you need. However, our plugins work with WP, Elemetnor, and partially Gutenberg. Hope I managed to answer your question.

I think they just use an underscore in their naming to try and avoid any interfering with other variable names that might have already been set in wordpress.

The plugin is great but the seasonal prices feature is missing making it impossible to be used for any hotel or rental properties website that can't have 12 months per year the same price. I really hope the feature will be added soon

Is it possible to filter by cities or do we need to register the city as a taxonomy? Is it possible to check the city of the property through the google api?
You should create a taxonomy or meta field Country if you need to filter your map listing with JetSmartFilters or query posts on the map with the help of Post query built in Query Builder.

Is there a way for a guest to put down an address that they will be. Then they would like to search for all hotels near that location filter by distance?

I am not sure to understand where the check-in and check-out came from when you only had set check-in and check-out times? Am I missing something? Also the actual post page design was it part of the map listing design, or it's another setup.? How can you set the map there? Hello! You cannot select the Elementor's Loop Grid template for the Map listing. Only JetEngine listing can be selected. Map listing works correctly with the ACF meta fields to get the address value from.

Is it possible to add a filter on the map filters, which dynamically changes the price on the Locations? For example, I have a filter called Session which can be 30, 60, 120 minutes. Can you do this with Pages instead of posts? My clients has hundreds of pages for storage locations. It would be a lot of work to have to recreate all of those into posts.

Why does the map is not showing ? I followed all the instruction on this video and still not showing . I even validated the API and it says "We successfully get coordinates for random address with your API key. You can use this key for address geocoding!" so I don't really know what am I missing .

how to customize the listing grid query using Dynamic tags
Hello! In Listing Grid you can't use the dynamic tags. This widget itself pulls the info dynamically, and all the queries are done within its settings: crocoblock.com/knowledge-base/article-category/query-settings/
For example... ¿How could we show 3 apartments that are on the same direction? I mean, Block 45 of x street, we have 1ºA, 2ºA and 3ºA, but it just show a cluster 3, not the apartments. Thank you.

Yes it's OK but, I asked that to find a way to make sure the address typed is correct and for example doesn't correspond to 2 or more addresses.
Is there a way to prompt the user in that case ? The advantage of showing a map on front/back end is that the user can be sure of what point will be shown on the map and eventually move the marker to be precise as needed.
Here is an example : If you geocode "Chaumont" in France, there more than 1 "Chaumont". On little city and one biggest...
Another example : An address that doesn't exists like "18 rue Victor Hugo 77480 Bray Sur Seine" => The marker is placed but on the wrong latlng position

@@boubaskunk , thanks for the detailed examples ;) In order to display the correct address you need to copy it from Google Maps and paste it to the Meta field, which further will be displayed in your Listing Grid.
For example, prntscr.com/t18gjc, then I pasted it to the meta field prntscr.com/t18h0k. And here's it is in the Listing: prntscr.com/t18iug, and here it is within the Maps Listing: prntscr.com/t18mlh :)
Why some kind of maps does not need API key and this needs?
I'm not sure what map you mean :) This one related to Google, and the API key which is needed is Google's one.
When will crocoblock make it possible to search by distance using zip/post code? It is such a basic requirement for jetsearch to be able to search by distance using google location api but cannot be done yet... Nobody seems to offer this but its available in themeforest directory themes.

@@wgm247 Our devs monitor all the requests on Github and they work on them in the order of priority and whether such functionality can be implemented.
Pretty frustrating, I find Crocoblock very unstable. Meta fields dont save, Taxonomies dont save, Map Listing card content doesn't show on some cards, does on others. Additional Providers List just doesn't work, using the Search filter box doesn't filter the Map at all. Loads of bugs....

Hello! When I click/hover on the listing item on the map, it cannot be seen, when a user is logged out, can only be seen if a user is logged in... Dynamic visibility is off, so that is not the case, I guess.

When you put the map listing on the archive template, you probably want to display the relevant posts on the map for each category page. The option use as archive template will help you to make that work.

Can you do tutorials with real files, so we can download them, and go with you step by step.
There is a disconnect. We need to do the same on our screen, and we have nothing where to start.
Does not make sense if we do not have the same canvas and images when we try to learn from these videos.
We demonstrate how the functionality works based on quite simple layout. We've got many clients with different layouts and different needs, so apparently we can't create a unite layout :) The main goal of the video tutorials is to showcase the basics and tell how it works.

Hi! Map Listing is included in the JetEngine plugin that has a lot of other functionality except for the map. Also, you can use Map Listing without coding that is much easier 😉
