    I have seen this option since its introduction and the first thing I thought about "can it replace taxonomies?" because jetengine does not have a filed taxonomy yet in the backend. The goal is to centralize the customer's attention on a single area to fill and keep only the featured image on the side.

    • @Crocoblock
      @Crocoblock  Před 3 lety

      Hello! No, the Glossaries can't be used for Taxonomies. If you want to show the Taxonomy withing your Listing Grid you can use the Dynamic Terms widget (crocoblock.com/knowledge-base/articles/jetengine-dynamic-terms-widget-overview/)

    Thank you for another good video. Is there any way to make any layered (related) selection for Glossaries? Like not only select from position (sales agent, assistant sales agent, executive sales agent, etc.). but also first select from upper layer like division (sales, accounting, HR, etc.) then if you select “sales”, you can choose position from sales division....

    Thank you Paul for this tutorial. Can I use glossary for images as well so that I will not need to upload the same images all over again? My use case is I have a checkbox metabox and user need to select one or multiple and I wanted to display the images depending on their selected checkbox. So if they picked apple and oranges on the checkbox, it should display an image off that fruits on the front end without the need to have an media upload field on the metaboxes. Is glossary the right way or taxonomy? I need to have more than 15 images for each checkbox and using media field type is not the best solution imo. Thank you

    • @Crocoblock
      @Crocoblock  Před 5 měsíci

      Hello! There is no option to add images to the glossay. Try to create an options page with all the pictures you need. Then use the dynamic visibility to display the correct picture depending on the checkboxes value. Use the condition In the list for dynamic visibility condition.

    So what is the difference between Glossaries and TAX?

    • @Crocoblock
      @Crocoblock  Před 3 lety

      Hi! Glossaries allow you to create a list of items with labels and values and use it as many times as you need. You won’t have to type in the same values on and on - the created list can be used for different multi-choice fields and forms.
      Taxonomies allow categorizing the Posts Types according to any classification characteristics.

    • @Crocoblock
      @Crocoblock  Před 3 lety

      Hello! According to our policy (crocoblock.com/faq/) once the license expires you stop receiving plugins updates (i.prntscr.com/5_xNoPwgT6mnxD6ywwvdfA.png). The plugin remains on your end, and you can continue using it (that version that you have). However, the updates may contain not only new features but also fixes and updated compatibility with other plugins (in particular, compatibility with the latest Elementor versions).
