  • Let's edit dual narrowband data that I captured with my Optolong L-eXtreme filter and turn it into a nice SHO (actually just an HOO) palette.

    Great video as always!
I’m actually transitioning into pixinsight (just got the codes for trial). This is gonna be quite helpful as I was able to get my hands on Optolong L-extreme as well!

I fixed the ADBE dropdown issue with the last update. As for the NBtoRGBstars I think you are doing it incorrectly. To use the OSC dropdown instead of individual channels you run StarX or StarNet on your color dual band image BEFORE running DBXtract. That will extract colored star image that can be used in that 4th dropdown

Thanks for updating ADBE! Will be sure to mention that in my next processing video.
And you are right that I was doing NBtoRGBStars incorrectly. Since the label is 'OSC Image,' I thought I could run it on the image without having to extract the stars. But it totally makes sense that it needs to be the OSC Stars Image after StarX/Starnet. Partly a brain-fart moment on my end.
If I could make a quick suggestion to update the tooltip on top to say that it should be the 'OSC stars image' as you say with H-alpha, Oiii, and Sii.
Thanks again! And I'm loving all of your tools so far, they've been making my life a lot easier.
