The Off to Battle unit focus format uses combat demonstrations from Skirmish vs. AI, background music and voice commentary, including:
- Intro
- Stat breakdown including hidden stats
- Common lord/ tech tree buffs applicable factionwide
- Tips, tricks, advice, maybe a secret or two!
- Bonus footage, playing out the battle once the voiceover is done so you can enjoy the sights and the music

Grimgor faces these in a quest battle and 2 gyro units outgunned 7 of my night goblin archers. They are insane now.
Yeah, I first realized it when they weren't jokes as reinforcements in Karl's Ghal Maraz quest battle...
The Torpedo variant of these things is insane, you can take 1/3 of the hp off a SEM or monstrous cav unit with single volley.
I'll cover those too but I had to recruit some to help with a Wulfrick stack in my Malakai campaign.

Welcome, because I didn't appreciate the changes at first either, since CA senpai doesn't notice me and I didn't have early access (cue old grumbler voice lines). I'm wiser now that I have dropped more bombs on more things.
Literally decimated hundres of goblins per battle with Throgrim Gyrobombers after they now have 4 times the bombs
That things are fun to use now
And fun is half the battle!
This is the best unit upgrade that CA ever did !!! Dawi now dominate the skies. I am a little bit upset that they did not improve their MD, but tripling their firepower, giving them actal AP damage, fire on the move and improved range make up for that with gusto. Please cover the other Gyro variants when you have a chance
I was thinking of you when I made that MD comment in the video. I have scripts for the other variants except trollhammers, I was just out all day, medical footwear requires an all-day round trip here and there. Too much traffic, otherwise completely fine ^^ So tomorrow I'll start getting variants out too. Also Dragon Slayer and Daemon Slayer scripts are done so I just have some catching up to do with recordings.
Medical footwear- man, you are going through a lot of stuff. All the best to you. What can I say- you can't always get what you want. I don't know why CA has this idea that mechanical units have to have ridiculously low MD. But now Gyros are so powerful that their melee stats are far less relevant. Plus, their shooting is so much better now that they can shoot down most aerial enemies who would attack them in melee.
@@kirillrivkin4842 Well the footwear is for longstanding, half-my-life stuff, in this case it was a quick refurb. We're good. And yeah, I still like crashing my gyrocopters in for ten seconds just to keep archers honest..

Ever since the new dwarf legendary lord from thrones of Decay came out. Dwarfs have the best airforce in game! I absolutely love it ❤
Well as the other side of not having cavalry I think that's just fine.
I'm glad that gyros are more powerful now, but i do think they overdid it, really the buff the gyrocopters needed to deal melee damage, obviously they shouldn't be good melee combatantas, but if a gyrocopter dies it should explode and act like a mini bloater for the vampire coast, or represent the danger of the blades, harpies should absolutely slaughter gyrocopters, but there's no way a decent few of them won't get mulched by the gyro's blades
I think you have a great argument. If it isn't workable for Total War, I'd love to see that in a tabletop-style battle situation sometime, sounds like it'd feel great in a turn based format.
@@OffToBattle oh yea, it'd be pretty sweet, if I'm not mistaken both of the things I mentioned were legitimate plotpoints in the gotrek and Felix book dragonslayer and maybe deamon slayer, some harpies being afraid the the gyrocopter blades, minor spoilet alert for the books, and then a gyrocopter slams into a dragon and wounds it pretty badly

how do you get the units to have 12 entities? mine only have 3. Is their a technology or trait or something I"m not unlocking or is it a bug?
It might be becouse
1: u playing an old version of the gane or campain
2: u are playing with low unit models in game setings
You’re probably playing on small unit size
The others have the right idea, you could be playing w/o the latest patch on Large unit scale. I use Ultra as a reference for videos.

I guess I'm just not used to them since I always dodged it but I still prefer canons over them
Cannons are legit, the Malakai grapeshot modification making them even more so.

In my Nurgle campaign, Malakai was pumping out air doom stacks. As Nurgle, that sucked!

It's possible that's true. Possible. It's still the best fresh air Dwarfs have had in many years so we'll just have to live with it as things get sorted out.
