Yet another fun month of buying and selling drums. Nothing too crazy, but I did sell off some random stuff that was getting in the way on. No matter how much little stuff I get rid of I still never have enough space...

@6:33 that's a Pearl adjustable beater weight. It sucks bc the diameter is a bit large for most beaters. So it rattles a lot. And the movable parts tend to rattle a lot too (in spite of the rubber parts designed to prevent that) so the whole purpose of it being adjustable in weight without removing the beater is totally ruined. It's a shit show. Just use one or two ordinary beater weights.

I've got a whole bedroom in my house full of drums, cymbals, and related gear, plus a kit permanently set up in my living room as a practice kit (I live alone so nobody to complain about the decor), plus my old studio at my daughter's house full of gear too. And two kits set up at the two churches I play at. Can you say 'drumitis'? The herd's going to get thinned out soon so I too will be selling off some good stuff soon. The hard part is deciding what to part with. Decisions decisions.
