- Since I made such a bad display of this in one of my earlier videos, I am taking the time to make up for it by showing you the RIGHT way to remove a CPU cooler and how to remove a CPU stuck to a cooler. Follow me on socials: *Instagram / hanah.faye

Thank you so much my CPU cooler was stuck in and your the only video that actually helped
I had my first pc build a few months ago and couldn't line up the cpu cooler so I tried to remove it to realign it. I almost had a heart attack because the CPU came off from the seat still attached to the cooler. Thankfully, no cpu pins were bent and it still worked fined. It was a pain to get 5800x so I lucked out there.
Stock coolers are notorious for sticky sink, I guess it has todo with the low quality paste they use.
I saw these videos and became aware and therefore from that day I always heat the cooler fins with a hairdryer . And then gently twist and turn to take it off !
I was desperate here until I found your video, thank you very much, it helped me a lot!
It helps to mindfully push down as you twist so you dont accidentally pull while twisting.
Good content, can't ever fault someone for wanting to help people.
That happened to me 15 minutes ago. Unfortunately I watched two other videos instead of this one before trying to remove the Wraith Prism. Luckily no pins were bent, but I had to research how to remove the CPU from the cooler. AMD are using the worst paste ever produced. I'll never trust the pre applied stuff again.
@@phizc it happens with a lot of paste, dont beat yourself up. To remove the cpu if it gets stuck I usually push towards the side of the cooler until the paste smears enough to break the suction on the heat spreader.
@@TuffMcAwesome I managed to fix it. I had to use a heat gun to warm the entire thing up to 80°C and use a calipers as a wrench to twist it off. It wasn't so much that suction was keeping it in place - the paste was as fired clay.
@@phizc I'm glad you got it fixed man
Thank you Hanah helped me a lot
Thanks, gotta go through something similar soon
Very informative video..
You just got a new subscriber.. ;-)
Awesome, thank you!
HEY HANAH !! When i removed it from the motherboard i got scared 😂😂😂 that i think my cpu is gone.. but it usually happens with everyone :D
thanks and love you
Thanks
Stupid me watched two other videos instead of this one before starting to remove the Warith Prism. I knew how to unlatch, and that I should twist, but neither showed that I had to unlatch the bottom part too. I'm pretty sure that was part if the reason I pulled out my CPU. Luckily no pins are bent, but I definitely have to find some dental floss. Thank you for that. Hope it works with 2-3 year old stock paste in a PC with a 95% up time. 😗
I love it
I mess up two CPUs because of just pulling it off. Both AMD.
Well... Fuck... Too late for me. I googled this shit for like 4 days before finding this, and realizing I am a tool. Ofcourse, I am pretty confident that my pre-build was superglued together, but regardless.. FML. Keep up the content, I will stay a dedicated viewer.
Thank you! And that does suck but we all do dumb things 🥴. I've done this very wrong before.
Beautiful ...not cpu ...😊
hi miss hanah, i want to tell you are very naturally beautiful :))
Here's an Indian Comment 💬 🇮🇳🙏
God loves yall and Jesus Christ is returning soon and repent,
I can not slip the floss under the cpu not metter how hard i try 🥲
