Kevin, WOW, just Wow. I look forward to each video because of the outstanding quality and the selection of Hotels, airlines, and most of all, the meals and beverages. And I got a good kick of my flip-flops when I saw the utterly beautiful plate of Chilaquiles that you received. I live in a town, Globe Arizona, where there are probably 15 different Mexican restaurants that everyone is So proud of, and not a single one serves Chilaquiles it is a travesty, to be honest. Keep up the great work! Happy travels. And have you ever stayed anywhere, where you had any concerns for your personal safety ?

You may not have considered this as an educational channel as well - we have learned a lot about hotels, airports, and what to look for - Thank you. I've watched a lot of travel channels, but yours is definitely #1 for me. The phasing, narration, camera angles, and care on putting it together says a lot from you! I really appreciate how you keep things real and focus on the experience rather than just showing off. Mark my words that you're definitely going to find big success here.
I have a suggestion too. I know you already talk about your travel gear in some videos and even share links to Amazon, but it would be awesome if you made a video specifically about your go-to travel items, bags, and essentials. Adding that to your repertoire would be really cool and super helpful!

Haha yes I know what you mean. While I do use a lot of points, my interest level of hawking credit cards and explaining how points work is similar to my interest in peeling 50 pounds of potatoes... so don't worry haha

I'm a pretty new subscriber, but love your videos. After your explanation of why the channel is named after Flip Flops, all becomes clear as to why I'm a fan. I recently went to a top hotel in Barbados and had to go shopping the next day to be allowed to eat there. Never again! Thanks.

As far as the list is concerned, barring number 10 and 2, it is safe to say that hospitality and service is significantly better in Asia in general. Not to demean anyone or any other area but that has been my observation too and this list kind of proves that.
Hmmm... well, thank you- but keep in mind that the majority of my content is from Asia lol. While I don't disagree with you per say, I also don't think my ranking comes to that conclusion :)

I agree with you Kevin, concerning EVA. They are always my first choice for long-haul travel. And as lovely as the airline and the business class seats are, Taipei is a wonderful airport for a layover. The showers are amazing! Congrats and best wishes on your future success!.

The content on the channel has conviction and serves the audience like the Okura hotel you mentioned and you stick with it consistently and reassure your commitment, that's why I think you have the most deserved subscriber base on CZcams. I'm so glad I joined on January 14th and saddened I never subscribed sooner. I actually first saw this channel after watching one Island Hopper video and I was not a fan. After seeing "The Flip Flop Traveller", I thought it was going to be the same. I didn't even want to watch anything until after watching Simply Aviation, I finally decided to give you a try as you had videos of Vietnam and I've been planning on returning home after 15+ years. I think I've watched the majority of your videos while I'm eating, passing time, cooking or simply staying in the bathroom for too long. Congratulations on the 100k! Well deserved. I began taking an interest in flight reviews during Covid and followed all the well-known names, but somehow your presentation style and approach gradually edged those guys out and I now find I watch every video you produce and others’ not so much.
You summed it up near the end with your comments on how you want to present the experiences and places you review - it’s not about you.

Hey Flip Flop Traveller. I really like your style of presentation and editing style. The amount of effort put into your videos is astronomical and deserves all the praise it can get. As a young person still early and amateur in my travel experiences, I am often inspired by your attention to detail, knowledge of hotel history, and level of research you put into a place before staying in it. I find myself trying to appreciate the places I come across the same way you do (albeit way less detailed) and trying to be more attentive to the hotels I book. The learning part from your videos is my favorite part and I hope one day I get to stay in the many resorts and hotels just as you've done!
