Lower body plyos keeping you big as hell
This is one of his nicer videos
This shows you just because you can bench 200 lbs doesnt mean youre going to be a hard puncher
with proper punching u can hit hard

Bro actually comparing a fighter to a bodybuilder and powerlifter as if they train the same way 😂

A lot of it is God given too
A lot of it is in the nervous system and that has genetic aspects, some people just don’t have the twitch and mechanical leverages
@@basedlord88 Yeah even people his size. He’s unique.
The word you were looking for was kinetic chain.
Ppl forget that the key to punching stronger is not by arms rather by your legs then your core then your arms
That’s why punching hard makes you jump higher
Awesome video bro
Why is bro always wearing a Chelsea shirt

Vertical jumps keeping you big as hell
I think he does it more for his legs and kicking than punching
How can this dude be marios brother martin is an actual good content creator and mario just gives off angry microdick vibes
Improvements in RFD (In the absence of muscle architecture changes) are incredibly movement pattern specific.
Vertical jumps are going to have very poor transfer compared to resisted lower body rotation or resisted lateral movements.
Him: bodybuildings and power lifters can’t punch hard
Eddie Hall: Breaks Alex Pereira record
He might have great force but it won't work on a fight since u need to pull your body before punching it's very dodgeable and btw Pereira doesn't even telegraph his punch he's just go for a straight kill and he uses right hand left hand would have break the machije
Tbh it also looks fun as hell to just jump around

@@bosyogurtlight hes kind of retarded but funny
You’d think his jumping would attribute more towards flying knees? Idk just me 🤷♂️
Alex’s main punch is a left hook. Traditionally boxers will plant their feat, and rotate lead foot. Bad to do in a game w/ kicks.
When he left hooked Jamal, kinda hard to plant the lead foot if ur stepping on the opponents foot. Still got knocked clean.
Left hook city w/ poatan and Ryan snow globe Garcia

I am a power lifter that punch’s hard lol.
This is like saying to throw a ball harder you need to work your legs, like yeah it helps but no where near as much as training upper arm shoulders and core
I mean all power comes from your legs ever heard of kinetic linking
Anyways I've train legs alot power training not powerlifting It did incredible on my punching power than push up training does
@@Stevemultiversaltree yes i know, but saying the BEST way to train your arms is with your legs is wrong, get a guy who only trains legs and a guy who only trains arms, mr arms can throw further, plus its called segmentation of force. Yes training legs helps a but , but training arms helps more, and arguably train core is better for punching as you can achieve greater transfers of energy.
@@InstinctiveWer yeah ur right power might come from your legs but the speed and strength is needed in upper body too some people can generate too much power from their strong legs and powerful legs but slow fist that's why people some people hit hard but slow
Your upper arm and shoulders are only there to transfer the power, you ever hear the term “throwing arm punches” when making fun of a bad puncher? It comes from the legs then hips magnifying it, the arm and shoulder just need to be solid and firm enough to not buckle when the power is transferred
@@basedlord88 you're just right power comes from your leg too I have trained my arm then and skip plyo legdays it doesn't even increase my strength at punching it only increase endurance but after I tried jump ropes jump squats vertical jumps I improve alot powerful
But u need to train your arm too for endurance and speed it will be useless if u can only throws slow punches hard punch
And also fast but weak punches sucks too

What was david darwin doing 😅
Why don't you ever talk about power cleans or hang cleans for power generation then? It's a really good movement for power, lots of power based sports incorporate it such as track and field events or american football.
Because it's not how you use your leg while fighting
@@Quepro12453 He preaches doing hip thrusts to train hip explosiveness, yet that is probably the least functional form of hip movement. The hang clean is the better way to train that, because you're standing up, exploding forward and up with your hips, then absorbing a lot of force as you catch the weight.
@@MonkeyyFN all is power btw no strength
@@Quepro12453 so are you saying power is less important than strength in fighting?
Funny vid ever 😂
Most of punching power comes from legs 👍
What ain’t that for agility and some footwork rather than punching power
If he talking about punching power wouldn’t punching a punching bag or using cables for resistance increase punching power
think about it, if you have bad footwork you cant expect to punch as hard as you can, so it increases footwork and strengthens the tendons in your leg making your legs more powerful as well
@@favela428 that’s why I said footwork rather than punching power
Can I do plyos without stunting growth
Talk to your doctor 🧑⚕️ about that
Tell dork brothers Bodybuilders aren’t fighters
Martin, didn't you say that tucking your legs when you jump is for lazy bodybuilders and doesn't mean anything?
Bruh then just squat heavy for high reps 😂 same difference
Squats don't help with producing force fast unless you're purposely doing them explosively, which isn't possible with heavy weight
@@l3on635 have you tried it or are you just saying that 😂
@@user-mo2ed5pz5nHe's right dumbass, squats aren't good for developing explosive power. This is commonly understood you're just an idiot lol
Didn't you said it yourself that doing this leg tucking jump is stupid?
