Nurse Aide at Wayne Community College

WCC's Nurse Aide course introduces basic nursing assistant skills required to provide personal care for patients, residents, or clients in a health care setting. Topics include communication, safety, patients’ rights, personal care, vital signs, elimination, nutrition, emergencies, rehabilitation, and mental health.
Upon successful completion of the 156+ hours of classroom, lab and clinical components, you will be eligible to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination necessary for certification and listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry.
