Dreams is a beast of a tool for creations. Games, animations, music, paintings or any combination you want of all of them. Can be collaborative and/or for VR too!
Imagine if we actually got this for Playstation VR2... It's the thing I was waiting for the most with PSVR2.. Like it was one of the things I was most excited about in life as a whole. Dreams is incredible, VR is incredible, and together they are un-fricken-believable. I've never felt more powerful than when creating in VR. I'm just making a damn world around me, and it's the most incredible creative feeling ever.
Sadly Sony dropped Dreams and my PSVR1 is totally worn out and falling apart. Hard to go back to after getting the PSVR2 as well...
@@vgaportauthority9932 I feel you. A PSVR2 version would have been incredible! And it shouldn't be as difficult. I mean, it could work by simply using the DualSense instead of the VR controllers, just like it has always worked. Just at least let us use it with the headset. The other thing would be that they would let us use the Move controllers still, so no problem having to remap the new ones.

That being said I'm more of an art guy so I enjoyed making abstract landscapes to explore, but whe I messed with the music side of it... yeeeeaaaah I had no idea what I was doing lol. If you haven't already, you could set yourself up a spotify for everything on your channel, and if you do decide to collab with Nik... stonks!
@@leedleleegamesyt I used to find sculpting so therapeutic after I'd had a stressful day... although one thing I was awful with, is custom rigging and animating... my lord, now THAT is difficult! This video has actually made me want to jump back into it now though, haven't played for probably close to two years now lol

I played a little bit of Dreams when it came out and couldn't figure out the controls or how to work it and when I saw all the music options I was just waiting to see what Musicians did with it.
For anyone who don't know Dreams is basically a Game Engine and then you can share the games, art, music, etc. And then everyone else can download it and play it, you can also remix what someone else made it turned into Shrek and Memes real fast but that was at the start of might be awesome now.

btw this is Dreams, a "game" for the Playstation 4 and 5 that is a really in-depth game toolkit.
nobody every thought you could develop any advanced games in that way on a console before it existed.
I used to do this on Little Big Planet 2 and 3. had so many midi versions of metal songs I created. I even have one videos on my youtube channel you can see it. video from 3 years ago. it's titled "Monuments - I The Creator (LBP)" it was a work in progress, I never got around to finishing it and moved on from that game.

I didn't know that you could compose music on Dreams, but I guess it makes sense that you can since it is a game creation engine and games do need music. This song is epic, too, so it really goes to show what's possible for people to create if you make the tools accessible enough for anybody with a PS4/5 to use them.
