You're not the only one. I did the same and its the best decision I've made in a long time. I'm tired of the partisan garbage we're fed in the states on a daily basis. I work in finance so I follow some financial media like WSJ and FT (not the opinion pieces) as well as many international news media such as WION. I've never been so well informed in my life to the extent that I have repeatedly proved wrong the political zealots back home. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of garbage new media around the world but I follow enough of them that I get a much better picture of reality. Surprisingly, Twitter has news bits that can't be found anywhere else and I recommend doing some digging there too. Cheers!

When you're a leader, you're representing a country and people look to you and your face as representing the overall attitude of the whole country toward an issue. I have commented in the past on her question dodging - seemingly inappropriate laughter during a couple of interviews regarding domestic issues here in the US. Was I being too critical? Apparently not... It was interesting to see that what I had noticed has resurfaced so strongly in the worlds eye. Embarrassing.... and disrespectful to the plight of the refugees to say the least.
