This chapter wasn't even that weird, just unexpected, as anything Fujimoto does is.
I found it hilarious how Katana Man knew about Asa's poem going on sale but then pretends that he wasn't a fan of hers. Then later on he finds out about Chainsaw Man being in the facility so he stops trying to end Asa to continue his hate towards CSM. The complete 180 he did was funny.
Yoru even stole Katana Man's line about his heart only beating to end CSM which was another part of that that gave me a laugh. Katana Man even called Asa _”Chainsaw Man’s woman.”_ Even he knew what’s up. Also, poor Fami 😂
A short but entertaining read imo.
To me it seems like the Weapon Hybrids have some level of natural affinity to the Horsemen for some reason. Denji was very quick to take an interest into Makima, so too was Barem. Now Katana has also greatly taken to Asa (even prior to their meeting).
His spiel over her poem is to specific not to be the case.
I think that was just a coincidence.

The fact that none of the hybrids are actively being controlled is actually very interesting. The only reason I can see Quanxi siding with Public Safety at all is if they somehow got her girls back lol

I’m getting strong Impel Down vibes from this arc, Katana Man is kind of acting like the Buggy of this arc and Asa the Luffy, I can see her recruiting more of Denji’s ex rivals to help her free him. Maybe we finally get Reze’s and Angel’s return and possibly even though it is farfetched the new Blood Devil could be here as well waiting to be freed.

Could the Devil Hunter with an eyepatch have a contract with the "Missing Devil"? Since he keeps disappering in a blink of an eye? The Missing Devil could potray the overall fear of someone going Missing and vanishing in thin air
I said in comment to another video that Katana man being a secret fan of Asa, and even Chainsawman, could lead to tragedy, as the guilt Asa would feel for converting him into a weapon would probably be immense...and therefore a very strong weapon.
But there os possibility that the increased power of War can make it so they can be returned to normal and converted again at will, as in an always available arsenal.
I can see Katana Man finding Denji and pulling a 'like that one time Godzilla attacked Haiti' from Family Guy.
Worst part is that Quanxi doesn't want to know anything. She says ignorance is bliss so there's likely no way to convince her to join them without incapacitating her first.
Samurai Sword may be fast enough to at least keep up with her speed blitz but it's very shakey if she shows up now before the cast gets to Chainsaw Man or someone else that can actually help.

Aside from chainsaw man being a special case, I always felt like/assumed the weapon hybrid devil(name erased) as well as the other hybrid devils all fell under wars jurisdiction and probably fought under her.
Also I can’t help but wonder how everyone will react if they find denji in a similar state to the one we last saw him in.
