bhai, coaches cost in lacs and they have a 20-25year life span, so until they complete their 20 yr or are too damaged, it makes no sense to remove them. these old ICF AC coaches can be converted to use as general coaches in slow moving passenger trains so that they too can get AC comfort.
@@prasannask8320 Yes you are right but the ICF coaches are too outdated and unsafe. We stopped manufacturing ICF coaches in 2017, that means we will be using ICF coaches till 2037 or maybe 2040. By that time it will be too late so the upgradation should be done as soon as possible.
@@suhasbarve2021 seeing the scale of indian railways, it is not always possible to upgrade everything at one time, all is done in phases, like LHB coaches were given to Rajdhani, their old coaches were given to shatabdi, shatabdi;s old coaches were split and used as spares for any express trains with AC coaches, and so on. so i suggested that the old ICF coaches be used as general class coaches with AC in passenger trains who do not travel long distances or at high speeds. these ICF coaches could provide ac travel comfort on those small distance passenger trains.
New LHB coach ko bhi same colour combination rakhna chahiye..... Green and Yellow. To achha rahega.. kyun ki generally LHB ka coach Red colour rahta hai. so all train ko red colour me dekhna ek booring feel hota hai.
