This is my new favorite channel to watch since quarentine. Ive learned so much about toucans. And then watching how much you love them... Its the cutest thing I cant even...even when they are being mean to your camera stuff and you deal with them anyway xD you're dedication and patience is amazing :)
Have you ever thought about doing a time lapse of Beatrix when she's out? She seems pretty content on the one perch. Just set up a camera (if she's not scared) and film her being her. You might have to speed it up and put some nice chill music behind it. It wouldn't give the wonderful comedy of today's video but it might be a low stress (for Beatrix) way of including her and generate something relaxing.

All you really know about her background is what you saw when you picked her up from the previous owner, with her cramped in that tiny cage ... Maybe she's too accustomed to that to be comfortable with wide spaces.

I have a idea. Should do a little experiment. put out flat dishes with fruit on them separated by type. Like blueberry dish then mango dish etc having each separate maybe 3 inches away from each other and see what empties out first to find which is the most popular among your toucans.

Did you have any problems when peeling the mangos? Turns out I'm allergic to a compound in their skin. I looked like I had dipped both hands in red dye. (I can still EAT mango, but I can't peel them). It's extremely weird.
