    I feel that this method is good when the last two digits lies between 00-20 or 80-00.
    But when the numbers are nearer to 40-60, it becomes difficult to calculate since we have to calculate the squares of 40 to 60.
    Other than this, the method is excellent.

      250 is nearer to 300 by adding 50 so, you subtract 50 from 250 .you will get 200 right then multiply with 3 ,you gets 600 after that add 2500 as the square of the 50.we need to get five digits as sir mentioned in the video. Finally we get 62500 as our answer.

    nice trick but bit difficult at when last two digits are in 40's 50's 60's 70's.. at that time it will be better to take base numbers like 250 ,350.. i think u got me

    • @sibaprasadsabat3918

      if the base is 400 we multiply by 4...if u take the base as 450 then what sould i multiply ??

    • @harishsurya8453
      @harishsurya8453 Před 7 lety +1

      there you should multiply with 4.5
      for 471^2 which is six digit number, i take base as 450 so 471+21=492*4.5=2214 and 21^2=441 finally 2218(4+4)41= 221841

    hello sir,
    if I want to square 542,
    how can I do that?
    because I can remember squares upto 30, but if I don't know the square of 42, I won't be able to calculate it

      yes sir I'm also intended to know the same question..how if the difference is either 35 or 45 or 49...and so on...it is difficult to remember their squares

    • @unknownhacker9416
      @unknownhacker9416 Před 6 lety +6

      542>>›542-550= -8
      Now do like that type B
      542-8=534
      (534*5)+(534÷2)=2937...because we take base as 550....
      8 square=64
      Above 360 we get 6-digits a number....so combine 2937&64...finally the answer is...293764......same do like that 558,556...this time just add the difference 558=550+8→←558+8....like that I hope you can understand this....

    • @adarsha2164
      @adarsha2164 Před 5 lety +3

      679 = 700 - 21 (thus base number 700)
      i) subtract: 679 - 21 = 658
      ii) multiply: 658 * 7 = 4606
      iii) 21 square = 441
      since the reqd answer should have 6 digits,
      4606_ _ + 441 = 461041
