You can also clip through the ship's ceiling with the cupboard glitch but instead of crouching you jump (I've noticed you can't clip out at every position but the normal placement of the cupboard works)

Love this video, for a while now I needed to know convenient and optimal routes to and from main/fire exits; all this information in a compact video. Saved me the trouble of figuring out the best angle and positions to leave ship to get from A to B; much appreciated.

I just recently got the game so I'm trying to find things that can help me get better at the game and this helped a lot!
12:24 If you're jumping from the railing, I would recommend jumping from the port-side railing instead. I started doing so after a teammate accidentally nudged me off the starboard railing and killed me.
Additionally, I would recommend jumping onto the railing by holding W instead of tapping A or D. That way you can move almost parallel to the railing, and have a much larger window to land on it.
13:32 Slight correction, you don't need to "move to the right" after getting on the rock. You can just start from the right, and then you won't have to use any sprint before you get to the top. (To figure out where to do this, you just look for the part of the rock that has a lot of jagged teeth.)
would enjoy a video covering the less than useful and more interesting jumps possible in the future, would love to see what interesting things the movement can do around the game
3:42 you can jump on the rail below the fire exit in experimentation & look up to enter faster
5:15 When it comes to the bars by fire exit on expiermentation there is a different way of getting on the lower set by jumping on the rails and jumping sideways onto the lower bar. There is acually purpose to this as sometimes you have too much weight on you to make the pipe jump so getting on these bars can make it possible (say if you have a cash register).

You can do the Assurance jump easier without taking damage. Run out as soon as the door opens, jump onto the box thingy hanging off the side of the ship, then jump away from the ship. It's consistent enough that I never miss the jump and I never take damage.

for experimentation you can also jump off the fire exit stairs onto the pillar you mention you can bump into then just walk off of that and take no damage too.

The route in experimentation you said was "just for fun" is actually good for getting over to the pipe if you're too heavy and can't do the regular jump over to it.
the hard limit is 70 pounds
I knew all of these already but I mean it's nice seeing somebody else make a good explanatory video of them
1:00 if you stay on that side piece it counts you as being inside the ship and any monster that targets you will go into the ship, and you can also hit dogs through the wall
(idk about giants, haven’t tested that yet)

Two oddball things ive found. You can clip to the top of the ship using the cabinet or the bunkbeds using the same method as getting on the cabinet you can jump again and if you did it properly youre in top of the ship. The bunkbeds one is fairly inconsistent and almost nobody who plays this game has bunkbeds out of storage but its neat.

you can also use the cabinet one to clip into the roof and get on top by just jumping again instead of crouching

You can jump on the outside of the ship's railing. This allows you to jump on the mesa so that you can double your speed to the main entrance on offense

With the first dine jump, immediately after passing the pipe you can scan main, which lets you go straight to it instead of hugging the pipe
Yeah thats true. I decided to show the "safer" option since It shouldn't fail.
On lots of seed you can use the fire exit though the floor on experimention
By using the cupboard trick you can clip through the roof and be at the top of the ship as soon as the map loads before even the doors open. Useful if you have a jetpack, since it allows you to get an even faster headstart than if you just started flying by going through the door. It's also an even faster and safer way to get on the pipe on offense.

there is a small misc glitch to get into the ship wall on the monitor side or on the right side
on the right side if you place the terminal so that the back side is halfway across the slight slope on the floor, then do the b+scroll glitch next to the wall
on the monitor side you can stand in the op corner that makes things think youve left the ship and then crouch and place a drawer(?) thing (its yellow) almost on the wall
you can also just jump on the right side of the weird cupboard shelf looking thing on the outside of the ship to jump onto the ship easily instead of getting on the railing
sounds interesting ill have to mess around with it and if i can replicate it ill try to remember to mention it in a future video.

Also on Assurance the closest rock to main entrance is really easy to climb(takes like 3 seconds if you know how to do it), so i think its way easier to get to fire exit instead of jumping to these pipes
And offense also have a shortcut to main entrance but its not godlike useful

On offense if you use the ladder to get onto the ship as soon as the doors open while landing you can jump from the top of the ship onto the pipe with much better consistency
You can climb the sides of the main entrance roof thing on titan similarly to the wall by fire on vow. This can be used to get height over dogs and even to escape ghost girl :P

theres another jump on titan - just get on top of the railing on the first "floor" of stairs and run, jump towards the ship right before falling off the railing and you can enter without any risks even though you will take damage + the dogs probably wont notice and you can just close the doors anyways so its really useful

There's another trick for the Assurance fire exit. If you need to take multiple trips to get all the loot back, starting by facing away from the door, you can run up the little ramp to the left and jump up onto the pipe. From there, you can walk onto the supports holding the pipe up and drop stuff directly onto the ground below. This can allow you to get everything to the ship without having to climb up to the fire exit multiple times. Whenever I go fire exit, I also tell my teammates about this spot and drop stuff down there whenever I'm dropping off loot at the exit; this way, if I die, they know exactly where all of the loot I found is going to be.
you can do the same if you get on the bar directly below the pipe, go to the side (right side facing the pipe) and while looking straight ahead in that direction you can drop off stuff onto the cliff of the fire exit, it takes up a lot less stamina and time
If you jump on the railing right under the fire exit on exp you can enter it ( dosnt work on ladders like the one of titan )
ah right i didn’t consider this. im guessing it works similar to the FE indoors as well if its in one of the staircase tiles.

Jumping onto ladders is useful but you save half a second in exchange for some of that sweet sweet stamina (you lose a bit with your jump) so I wouldn't say do it EVERYTIME, but it has its uses
yep that’s true. you also generate stamina while on a ladder so sound like assurance ladder to fire exit is definitely worth the jump

sup det! so i play both. I enjoy tryharding for high quota runs but most people I play with are pretty casual. I have some friends that plan runs every so often but i usually join random lobbies where its still pretty casual.
Offense has a speedy Main jump similar to damageless Ass, yet a bit more precise

for the cabinet trick: instead of scrolling you can just press E
yep that works too. I just find it a little easier to scroll :D

14:05 If you have no weight you can jump on top of the ship without taking danage. That's how I do it everytime :)

You can make a jump to the large cliff to the left of main from the ship by doing the jump on the little box on the left side of the ship (which you demonstrated in this video)
But instead of using it to get on top of the back of the ship, you jump to the small ledge on the wrong side of the railing at the back balcony of the ship, quickly sprint along it, then jump for the ledge

On Rend another way to get off quite quickly towards main is jumping on top of the mountain to the left a bit after the doors open and slide carefully downwards
Useful only if youre speedrunning ig just wanted to point this out since it wasnt shown in the video

Thank you for this video! I tried that jump on assurance back to fire exit showed on 7:43 but no matter how much I spam jump and sprint I can never pass the last part, how did you do it?
its pretty hard. ill probably keep practicing and show it again in the future. there is a spot you can stand that lets you hit the jump but otherwise you get stuck under the beam.
There is one more jump on titan where you just walk off the edge onto the lower platform but I wouldn’t recommend it as it does a lot of damage

On offense you can do pretty much like assurance jump on fire without taking damage, it takes you to main really fast

i think i accidentally had a stamina mod. i use a testing profile and removed better stamina but i think something else gave me more. i can assure all of these work without mods. some like climbing the pillar and jumping up the cliff to assurance fire exit are a bit harder but with practice its not too bad. ill make sure in future videos i find whatever mod was giving me extra stamina is disabled.

in this video i do have a mod that gave me faster sprint without realizing it. this jump is possible without it but is much more difficult. The angle is really precise.
Yeah, I just tried it in vanilla v50. It's either too precise or impossible. Definitely not practical for any runs sadly :\
Yes, it is possible, I pulled it off in vanilla v50. It is very difficult. You have to jump towards the location he was looking at, then air straif imediadetly and align yourself parallel to the horizontal metal beam, sprint and spam jump. You have to hit the sweet spot at the apex of the jump. Once you get the second jump, you have to immediately turn 45 degrees left in order to not fall off.
It took about 10-15 minutes of practice for me to be able to consistently get it first try. If you fail the jump even once it is probably slower than just taking the ladder. I'm not sure if the jump can be made with any weight either.

I have found a new tech but It's not he most useful right now
You can stay outside the ship after it goes into orbit if you stand on the front part of the ledge on the right of the shipdoor.
Subsequently someone else can land the ship, you will see the jarring scene transition, and then you land.
Being in that spot let's you get down to the ground faster on some maps. Ive tested all the maps but the only jumps Ive found aren't all that useful
You can get to the march south fireexit faster this way. You can also get to offense main very fast but you will loose 50 health (you'll wish you missed the jump and died instead of being on offense)
There is also a jump on dine but... the same problem as offense applies except you can still tank one shot from a turret. (you will live 0.2 seconds longer)
You can't make the jump on to the tower on experimentation D: . so sad. much potential
Something that has occured to me right now is that with the help of TZP some other jumps might be possible! pay attention this might be useful information for your high quota Experimentation run

yeah idk what mod i had that had a stamina adjustment. this is a test profile and i disabled better stamina and weightless company but i think one of my dev tools mods had something. all jumps are possible without altering stamina and ill make sure whatever mod this was is disabled in future videos
