@The Productivity Guy, the reason the brain doesn’t want to change is that at the unconscious level the brain believes that the existing structure is key for survival. So at the conscious ,or external level, the change feels like a heavy log to drag. For true change to happen, the unconscious must be convinced that the new structure is a better way to live. This means that the conscious must consistently perform the new activity preferably at same time with same frequency, preferably daily for several weeks till the internal brain is convinced that this new activity surpasses the previous one on the survival scale. Once both unconscious and conscious are in rapport, Change happens. Then to take it forward, rinse structure and repeat!!!
