I have loved this song and @weezer ever since my high school band "Hardly Par" made me learn it for our first show back in 1998! This year the band and I were prepping for our Valentine's Day shows this year and randomly started playing this at our rehearsal. We went through the whole tune from memory and it was way too much fun to play. Just before the whole world shut down (in NYC) I had an idea to film and record three cover tunes so I had brought in my camera and some lights and filmed Robert Mitzner (drums) and Matt Milligan (bass) in Rob's C-Room Studio space, then finished the rest this week while locked in at my apartment. I've got two more of those in the can so stay tuned!
The puppets AND DOG TOYS were a last minute stir-crazy addition and a super long process because I don't have a green screen here but it turns out I didn't need one - I just needed days of time cutting everything else out! Be sure to watch until the end for the Muppets reference!
