Well, this was a completely unexpected great video to start my day. Great job, Media Hunter, you gave one of my favorite shows justice! Please keep making these awesome reviews for as long as you possibly can! Good luck on your future reviews! :D
I loved this show so much when I was a kid. Looking back on it now, a lot of the jokes do kind of fall flat, and they can ruin otherwise dramatic moments, but I still appreciate how committed they were to keeping the tone humorous and self-referential.
Good job on the review! I'll share this with a few other fans of the show. As for a second season? Well... I might have something in mind for that. Also, where did you get the raws? The CZcams page that had them (with CC-activated subtitles) went the way of the dinosaur. To wit, I might use those raws for a project I'm trying to get off the ground.
Fun fact: Samurai Pizza Cats had a spiritual successor called 'Eto Rangers' it basically Super Sentai + Kingdom Hearts + Chinese Zodiac animals + Dragonball. There never was a dub though, but still good.
I think you may have some misinformation about what was unaired, see long ago when I was young I recorded it on VSH as it aired locally early in the morning and I kept the tapes for years, and episodes 30 was on them However from what I found it was not aired in Canada, and in fact it was only the two clip shows that didn't show up in the US for not being getting dub.
I felt you did a good review. Having seen Samurai Pizza Cats, it was perhaps the first cartoon that made me realize that this show as well as other cartoons like it was made in Japan. I remember seeing Astro Boy in the 80s and never picked up it was coming from Japan, so even if the American version was trying to put in all the pop culture jokes from America, it was clear that it was definitely made in Japan. Especially the episode where Bad Bird was working for the Pizza Cats in that one episode, they kept in the Japanese text and made fun out of it with some of the animals looking at the job advert not understanding the writing until one of them says out loud "That is because we are in a Japanese cartoon" So even if you had not seen any Anime up to this point, it would be clear to any kid what they were seeing was clearly made in Japan which was one of those amazing revelations. Also in the American opening, "Won't somebody please shoot that bird" funniest opening line to any cartoon song from the 90s.
William McBrine But it's not an atrocity by any means really. He either does really horrible stuff or really good stuff. This is definitely inbetween those.
I have no idea how to respond to you. On the one hand, I don't want to agree with ED or Kiwi Farms, but on the other hand, I don't want to agree with someone who likes this series. (I DON'T.)
Bismuth83 I don't think anyone can take ED or Kiwi Farms too seriously. They mock everybody. I have too much of a sense of humor about myself to take them seriously.
First!!! Yay😆😆😆 I admit Isaac I didn't expect this one of you. Then again you often review things not a lot of us have seen or heard of. When Zootopia (AKA Zootropolis) is released to DVD, do you plan on reviewing it? It's such a great movie with an equally great message about prejudice and stereotypes. Also, when do you intend to get back to reviewing YU-GI-OH related media? When Arc V concludes do you plan on review it then like you said in your first impressions vid? Or maybe the two movies. Let me know what you think and comment if you do. I'd like to hear your thoughts. PS: 👍🏻⬆️✌️U
+The G-Wing The films not on DVD in the UK where I live and I guess it's out in other countries. I don't know which ones but hey. Also about the furry thing; just because the film somehow launched 1000's of furries with characters like Judy Hops, that doesn't stop Isaac from reviewing a great movie with a good message, likeable characters, genius humour and stunning animation. It's likely he'll get to it soon so don't worry about any furry business.
"...including the retirement home for aging Ninja Turtles" - Narrator.
Now that's silly.

"They've got more fur than any turtle ever had!"
LIKE THAT'S A SELLING POINT!
This show feels like it should’ve aired
on Adult Swim in 2009

7:57 Um... Did you forget to edit that out? Or were you just rushing it?
I saw this show when I was a Kid
The Japanese version was a crazy, action packed show,, but the English dub was even crazier in my opinion
The subbed version's available on Crunchyroll.
+Spectre979 Thanks for the info.
Spectre979 I really miss that show. My 2 brothers and I love that show when We were kids.
This was a classic when I was in preschool

Samurai Pizza Cats reboot would be interesting.
Don't think about that idea.
@@durece100 I would think about it 😁😅😓.....
@@kaylemathewcomendador6964 That's not a good idea to make a reboot.
@@durece100 I just got a rough idea in my head about it, so no need to panic.

Mr. Enter must review this for his animated atrocities.

***** Same but humor and all that being subjective. But at least it's overall good I think.
Sometime you should review Secret Adventures.
review the Kirby anime series, both the english dub and the original Japanese dub are available on youtube!
The english dub is called "Kirby: Right Back at Ya!" and the original is called "Kirby Of The Stars"
Actually, What would you say Toei Animation film, The Wonderful World of Puss in Boots?
Didn't Bad Bird have a love interest?
He did. Surprised Carla didn't get a mention.
