The Massey Ferguson 1155 is a 2WD row-crop tractor manufactured by Massey Ferguson from 1973 to 1978. The MF 1155 tractor is equipped with an 8.9 L (540.0 cu·in) V8 diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a two-speed power shift transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears and dry disc clutch or a gear type transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears and dry disc clutch.
The Massey Ferguson 1155 row-crop tractor used the Perkins AV8.540 engine. It is an 8.9 L, 8,851 cm2, (540.0 cu·in) V8 natural aspirated diesel engine with 108.0 mm (4.25 in) of the cylinder bore and 121.0 mm (4.76 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 17.5:1. This engine produced 142 PS (104.4 kW; 140.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of PTO output power.
The MF 1155 is equipped with power steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes, cab (standard) and 208.2 liters (55 US gal.; 45.8 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

My grandpa pulled one in farm stock and altered farm for years. I’d love to have an 1155 one day. And then restore it

Did you simply change the muffler to get the same sound? Or any other modification?
