- We decided to speedrun Castle Crashers and it almost drove us insane. This speedrun is way more difficult than you think, but it's also incredibly nostalgic so it's a good time at least

Crashing Castles with the boys reminds me of when I first played this game when I was a wee lad, and it was just as fun. These 4 player Speedruns take forever to learn but they are so fun and I want MORE. 4 player Terraria next??

You shaped my childhood alongside Halo 3 as a game me and the boys just always played for years. I own and have completed Castle Crashers on PC, 360, Remastered, and have picked up some of the figurines. I hope all of you are having a wonderful time and I really look forwards to Alien Hominid Invasion, hope you'll rerelease the original on Steam and as I'm sure you've heard a thousand times I'm hoping one day you release a Castle Crashers sequel, it's one of the few games that truly deserves it.

Seeing this legendary game still being uploaded by people makes me so happy, I remember going over to my cousins house and just sitting with him and playing through the entirety of this game in one night with just me, him, 3 boxes of pizza and my 4 year old sister just happily watching us… great times

The weapons and little pets in this game were awesome. I wanted every one of them. Loved walking down the frogs mouth and looking at the numerous weapons.
That they had pinned down a living creature to use as storage was one of the most hilariously absurd and brutal details of this ridiculous world.

Thing to note
The corn boss doesn't have a health bar, rather they have a number of hits bar.
This is the only boss where you have to hit it a specific number of times for it to die.
This number is multiplied by the number of players present at the start of the fight.
Speed to boost arrow range and fire rate is recommended for this boss or any multi-hit magic

ALL HITS ON THIS BOSS DEAL THE SAME AMOUNT OF DAMAGE
this boss only dies if it is hit enough times to make all of it's cornels pop off
each hit this boss takes makes 1 cornel pop off
that is simply not true. Yes each hit makes 1 kernel fall off healing 1 hp. But you can see in the video they are doing different amounts of damage 26, 28. With maxed strength you will do 46 damage per melee hit. Rewatch the corn boss segment and you will see varying damage dealt.@@FlapHedge
you got the wrong boss the volcano is the one who has a specific number of hits instead of a health bar @@FlapHedge
I remember playing this game when I was around 6 years old with my grandpa and uncle and it was such a great time. This is the first time I've seen someone make a video of this game in a while. I had no idea what I was doing when I was playing this. I just wanted to kill things. Thank you for making a video on this game. It has brought back so many golden memories I will always remember

Edit - this is simply because his magic is op against bosses and deffo the best choice. There are other better magic for reg enemies but none of them are better then using melee to kill them which every character can do
Yes, but I think it's op only when you fight bosses. In my opinion the best character for normal enemies is the Red Knight
blue knight is way better than industrialist. blue knight has an infinite ground stunlock as well as being able to use his splash in the air. industrialist is good at killing bosses and that's it. he's terrible in literally every other situation

@@burninggarbage7178 every character is basically the same at the end of the day, they all do the same amount of melee damage besides alien because he can only use his fefault for whatever reason making him thr worst by default. The only 2 characters that are noticeably different would be ice magic for enemies or industrialist/fencer for bosses
This is one of my favorite games ever made. The replay value is SO high. It's just built better.
Edit: you guys never used the shield... and red knight never used their op magic... come on man

Red knights magic is really bad because there is no reason to not use your weapon against enemies and it's just awful against bosses
@@CubicMold3483 some bosses dont have damage cooldown, so the red knights splash magic does damage on every single frame. It can melt some bosses in seconds.

This was one of my favorite games growing up as a kid and still is, im so glad people still play it today
I loved this so much, the nostalgia from the start to the end of this video was incredible.
I remember playing this game with my dad like 6 years ago, very underrated.
As lighting guy with leveled magic, you can basically 2 mag the first boss to farm gold for potions very fast. Also can stun lock most ground units. Does insane damage to corn boss, cat, madusa, sandwiches, and basically most bosses.
I remember playing this with my friends while we were all hammered beyond belief. one of the best experiences i have ever had.

Played this game as a kid for an eternity was so fun, collecting all the pets and characters and weapons and then making combos and popping off online. Loved going online just to PVP other players in the faceoffs for princesses.

Juggle cycle the spider wizard as soon as he comes out of the chest, he will keep using his under attack because you are right there, and he will die in seconds

You had lighting guy and didn't full stack magic?? You can one mag like most portions of the map. If you used 3 of the characters that can basically one mag bosses you could've beat this run in way less time I think. Bosses took most time right?
