Kieran Gonzales (played by award winning "Best Actor" Dash Gonzales) who seeks academic validation from his parents is suddenly forced to face his feelings as he discovers the truth about his brother's (Played by Joshua Tamaño) suffering. Will his parents finally recognize the consequences of their high expectations after learning about their second son’s struggles?
One Step Closer is filmed with a combination of 24mm and 70mm format lenses on Sony and Canon Cameras. Scenes were shot on Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna campus grounds and Morningfields Laguna.
