Brilliant. I always tell people who've never seen him that NH is the best live performer I've ever seen. This video comes closest to capturing that energy. Thanks for sharing.
I don't understand how his right hand copes with a steel strung guitar like that, he has magic paws. I have been lucky to have seen Nick at a small festival some friends were putting on, he was simply wonderful.
The man is pure class i've had the privilege of seeing Nick on no fewer than 10 occasions, i'm also a proud owner of one of Nick's broken guitar strings.
did you go to the Williamson tunnels gig? that was amazing seeing him singing the song treasure island in the place that inspired it I have seen him 2 times once there and once in the Liverpool barfly
Although this isn't what I'd normally listen to, I like the chords in the first song. Didn't listen to much more, but remembered to press the 'thumbs up' button before leaving the page!
Wow! What amazing performances! Can anyone tell me what the second song is?? It has been stuck in my mind for a week since hearing it here! And how did I not know about him before??
It was at the Citdel in St. Helens. It was an incredible Gig. If I recall correctly the support act blew the speakers so Nick did the entire gig unplugged. The whole audience was silent then after the gig he came outside and played for another half hour or so.
Love every second

Nick's my hero!
BRILLIANT. I'm alternating laughing and being really touched by the sing-a-long and all the love from the crowd :D

What is the song called that he starts the video with
"You brought a new kind of love to me" - it's a (very) oldie!
