Great video! If you major in something like fiannce (which isn't STEM OPT qualifiable) but then minor in somehting like data science, can you apply for STEM OPT?

So I am an international student and I got a job offer from a roofing company. I am really interested in the position.
My problem is that I have a degree in science with a concentration in biomedical sciences. Can I work in the roofing company or not because I don’t know if I can related my degree with this type of job.

Hey Akash, I'm not a lawyer so I would 100% talk to a lawyer about this. From my understanding, having a cpt for longer than 1 year disqualifies you for opt, and if that's your situation, I would really talk to an immigration lawyer as soon as you can

Yes, I did that! I did CPT for internships and only used OPT after graduating which is very common
