So, we've put together a list of 10 things that you should be doing to ensure that you win every single time! my best MyGM run was when I signed 6 legends the week of the PLE and got the gold card to turn all legends to permanent contracts

One minor addendum to boosting stars' morale: they will always get a bigger morale boost from appearing in a Main Event match than from appearing in any of the others.
There is also a small morale boost from being sent to a health spa.

Just being on the show doesn't boost Morale either. I've had several instances where one person in a feud just can't get a win without using a Fix Match card (or my playing directly, but forget wasting that much time), and their Morale suffers enough from several losses in a row where they are asking for $100k bribes to make them happy again (or in some cases threatening to just walk out on my show if they don't get it because they're so low).
Morale cards are less important compared to some others, but having a couple on hand (not necessarily right away but by Season 2 if you can manage to afford/earn them) just in case is very handy for those random situations.
@@DozenMarks You can always hire a jobber to put on a squash match, to snap the star's losing streak and restore some morale.
@@KaitainCPS That works too, but money is rarely an issue long enough to need to worry about not just paying them their 50k hush money to get over it sometimes too.

Another tip, sometimes after a wrestler completes a special match, you will be notifed they are good at it. I always find you getter a higher star rating if you book those or a wrestler will tell you what they specialise in as well. Got a huge amount of starts everytime i booked Dolph in a falls anywhere match. I always try to abide requests as well, especially when someone asks for a tag match with someone, if you give them the right oppoents those get high star ratings as well
Wish they have u actually negotiate with free agents, like about their role on the card, wages and duration with meter of how interested they are
I usually choose the superstars with high mic skills (unless the stamina is bad) since they have a higher chance to raise a rivalry on call out, has low chance for a weak promo as well a higher popularity rise, and probably gets more money on ads and has a lower popularity deduction.
literally boogs, miz, truth, ezekiel and elias are always in my draft lmao. i build my womens roster around alexa bliss and it works everytime
Cash take from advertising promos is actually tied to the star’s current popularity. But higher mic skill generally means losing less popularity from an advertising popularity. (You might be a sell-out, but by god you sold out with verve and energy.)

I think that one of the most consistent rivalries in the game is that of Shinsuke Nakamura and Roman Reigns regardless of stamina pick those two first because they have the beast face and and heel and type dynamic . Pick Roman as your world champion and build up this rivalry
I like the GM Mode in the new game. But it seems complicated to win the GM mode overall. Nice video!

00:27 that's my problem with this mode. I tried and wanted to make it kinda realistic, while in this mode you end up having Shanky as WWE champ feuding with Akira Tozawa in 5 stars matches...

Lmfao my boy kyle slickman. When i was playing mygm with my bro, he was my top guy on my brand and was on a hell of a championship run.
I’m trying to figure out how to do trades in wwe 2k24 cause I’m playing as ecw with Eric bischof and the problem is ecw doesn’t have a women’s championship… I knew this coming in but I made a custom belt and thought I would be able to use it…. You can see my dilemma already I have a good mix of women’s and men’s and the women’s is kind of pointless because they can’t fight for a belt so it’s just random feuds.
I can’t remember if it says in game but Are the shake ups random everytime? As in would you get the same ones after the Hell in a Cell PLE as someone would after the same event in their game?
they're random
They are broadly random, but die rolls are fudged so that brands that have fallen behind tend to get better shake-up options statistically.

I hope in 2k24/25 it's less based on "FIGHTER+BRUISER GOOD. EVERYTHING ELSE BAD. TITLE MATCH EVERY NIGHT." and allows for more roleplay. I can't have Rey Mysterio feud with Brock Lesnar because Brock isn't a giant? Am I supposed to believe Rey vs Brock wouldn't be a good match? It's honestly not as fun just having to put the square in the square hole over and over and over instead of making a fun roster

All match-ups DO get boosts; it's just a question of how big they are. Players tend to overestimate how important style matchups are: it's perfectly possible to put on a 5 star match with e.g. two bruisers; it's just that bit harder than with a great style combo like giant-cruiser or bruiser-fighter.
The rough hierarchy of style matchups is:
OUTSTANDING (10/10): Giant-Cruiser
EXCELLENT: (8/10): Fighter-Bruiser
GOOD: (7/10): Specialist-Anyone
FAIR: (6/10): Cruiser-Cruiser
MEDIOCRE (4/10) Most other combos
POOR (2/10) Giant-Giant
So you can certainly cover your bases by drafting a lot of specialists, but you can usually afford to have some high end combos as well. For instance, if you sign:
2 Face Fighters
1 Face Giant
2 Face Specialists
2 Heel Bruisers
1 Heel Cruiser
2 Heel Specialists
...then you get several options for really good matches while also having coverage to run most pairings with at least 7/10
For example, each face fighter has:
2 excellent matchups
2 good matchups
1 mediocre matchup
The face giant has:
1 outstanding matchup
2 good matchups
2 mediocre matchups
Contrast that with signing five face specialists and five heel specialists. Every combo is good, but no combo is better than good. Which roster is better overall? With a little bit of planning, the mixed roster is slightly better.

Can you beat my gm on the hardest difficulty with only women and 2 men
I noticed in mine the CPU don’t care bout stamina. Their superstars are performing with low and even zero stamina and not getting hurt! Is that the case for everybody?
That happened to me for 4 seasons then all sudden all my superstars got injured
CPU stars get injured with exactly the same probability as for the player.
is there an easy gm to beat? i just want the playstation trophies dont care about a challange but i find my self winning season 1 but then losing season 2 on ratings and for a trophy you need to win ratings on first 3 seasons. also o we know the 10 slammies yet?
Just select AI DIFFICULTY EASY when setting up a game.
I challenge him to use custom wrestlers in my gm and you can use one normal wrestler to be champion for male and female and you most use wcw for my gm and custom gm that is the challenge
Best tipp I can give: never use Tag Team Matches because u don't have so many wrestlers and u ruin the stamina of four wrestlers for only one irrelevant match.
Fatal 4 Way Title Match is okay but only in a ppv.
Question, how does one "win" in GM mode? I have all 10 hall of fame trophies. Does it still just continue forever?
At the end of season 4 you get into the hall of fame. Then you have the option to retire the save slot

Why do I only get 3 weekly matches, and only 4 matches in PLE? I don't get it, and can't find the answer as to why.
When you start the game, ensure the game difficulty is set to Normal or Hard, not to Easy. (Note: game difficulty is a separate setting from AI difficulty.)

How bout I edit the Popularity, Star Power, and Ratings to more accurate numbers and then put everyone to specialist?
You are almost always better off with a mixed roster that contains several specialists than a roster that contains only specialists.
Is this year My GM better than GM mode in SvR 2007 ??

Honestly yes. We forget those GM Modes didn’t have much back then.
I'd say yes if you fully embrace new mechanics. SvR (which i loved) had more freedom with matchups and it was easier to get star ratings, but you get to control a lot more in 2k23, plus you can run more than one season and theres lots of objectives to shoot for. Also you can play with up to 4 ppl in addition to solo. The fact that you can play 2, 3 or 4 brands at a time is insane too.
I played my gm for months and. Never got first place or any hall of fame 😭 so I never played again
I only have one mid card slot on weekly shows.
You have to have the GM Mode difficulty set to normal or hard.
I just make everyone the same style so it's easy lol

I think main difference is just more match types being available.
Triple Threat, Fatal Four Way, lots of new match types, trophies, seasons, midcard belts, shake-ups...quite a few things. Definitely evolution rather than revolution, though; the core of the mode isn't substantially different.
Why isn't war games royal rumble or elimination chamber on gm mode
The most you can have in the ring in mygm is 8. This is because you probably won't have enough to book a royal rumble match, as well as the other midcard matches
The Royal Rumble is historically a cross brand match though. The developers could have just made it to where each brand offered up 7 superstars with the bottom two brands being barred from scheduling on the rest of the match card and having to give up an additional superstar each for the Rumble match while the top two brands get a card spot at the PPV.
So does 2K23 still think the Undertaker and Kane, and Hogan and Andre, cant
have good matches against each other? 😂
I’d argue that both of those combos generally had TERRIBLE matches against one another, despite those matches places on the card. 😆

Pretty much theirs different trophies or goals for you to hit. I got 3 trophies off the back just from
1. Giving my superstars matches they request
2. Signing free agents
3. Making sure you always use the biggest arena possible so you can earn the most money.
Also with promo’s do advertising a lot so you can raise more money

This mode seems so boring to me. Not really about wrestling you don't even watch matches just in menus all day.
To each their own. Fun to play w someone else over a period of time. You can watch and play matches too if you want
You can watch the matches.
You CAN watch the matches or even play in them or just simulate to “skip” them
It’s a fun mode but watching CZcamsrs play it can be repetitive when all they do is skip matches
Putting the fact that you can either play or watch the matches aside, what exactly did you expect from a gamemode called myGM. You're running a wrestling show, that would be like all the people that bought nfl head coach 09 saying they dont like the game because they dont get to play the games theyre coaching
