- Whilst I have already done a short video of the under bonnet fire, this is my event video showing class winning runs and the full 1st practice run where I had to put out a (small) under bonnet fire. I have also tried what could be classed as a passenger view- if they were allowed.

Awesome! Keep the videos coming.
So much fun! Glad the fire was small!
Cheers Chef. Thorough check at home didn’t really reveal a reason. Changed to stronger carb to manifold spring washers. Fuel pressure and float heights good. Think it’s just the sharp bend finish and shutting off accelerator caused some flooding ?
So fun to watch! Really something to see a TR3 pushed to the limit. What are you running for rear shocks??
Hi thanks
The rear shocks are the standard Armstrong lever arm. The springs are slightly uprated 165lb I think?! Been on for years !!
I love the body design of these, but I always assumed they were actually slow. Have you got a video explaining what's been done to your car?
Hi yes there are a few videos where i go into some of the mods check out my channel
Really enjoyed that. Thanks again. Is OD actuated by a switch on the gear lever?Had an Alpine many moons ago like that. All the best. keith.
Thanks Keith. I have the OD switch on the dash under my right hand and can operate it with hand on the wheel. It also has a logic system that automatically turns off the OD when using the gear lever.
Thanks for that. I did wonder how much a standard OD would slow down shifts for the corners.. Maybe a video onn how your 3a is set up ?All the best Keith.@@HamishRacing
Love the passenger view! Any idea what caused the fire?
fuel leak on the manifold with fuel shaken up over the line and sudden shut off i think
How did you find the "hill" ? (I guess the section before the farm is more like a sprint and the section above more like a hill climb?) It's cool for me to see you run at a venue I've attended as a spectator.
You are right sprint and hill characteristics, will need a lot more track time to see if I can get the last bit of the hill correct/faster. Big penalty if you get it wrong though.
Great venue.
@@HamishRacing If you post something over on sideways before you are next at Harewood we'll try and make it over to spectate.
