Besides being more expensive, those mini-busses are claustrophobic as you stated, they cram more than allowed, speed and make more stops causing more delays. The busses are betterm period! Thanks for your vlog :)

Hey Joe, just a heads up. I am at the station right now at 12:15pm and the big bus is booked for the day. I'm here waiting at least 2 hours for a mini bus to Bangsaen. I chose not to take the minivan due to your advice, despite the fact that it is available immediately. Thanks for the advice and the information!
The big bus is full? I've never seen that. The worst I had to do was wait for two buses and get on the third. Recently at 9pm there were 6 of us on the entire bus. Have a great trip.
@@EagerExpat mini bus was awesome. Driver was not crazy. He took us beyond the scheduled stop to the beach. Overall outstanding experience and only 1,5 hours in moderate traffic. Thanks again and great channel!
@user-gz2yu6zs8z That's good to hear. I'm glad you didn't get stuffed in. It's hit or miss. I'm really surprised the bus was sold out. They run every 30 minutes. Plus, they stopped selling tickets for the next day
Hello! The way you show on CZcams that I just saw elevator going up but no evalator to go down... Exit number 2 go down the stair only😂 I can only see the elevator go through shopping mall. Can i go though to there to get to Bus Station..Hopefully they have elevator from here go down to the street.. so it is better for me as I am a senior😂 Can you tell me and let me know about it . Please. Thank you
As far as I know, the same elevator goes up and down. You'll be fine. You can ask for help at any BTS, and they escort you to the train. Many people in wheelchairs use the elevators every day.
I realize this was awhile ago, but do you happen to know when the first and last bus of the day to Pattaya is?
You know I didn't notice. I know I've seen the bus heading to Pattaya past 10pm. I saw one last week that was half empty. I'd guess it starts very early. I'm running around Manila today. I'll get a better answer next time I walk by. Just avoid the Toyota mini bus. They stuff too many people in that van. Those probably go all night.
@Eager Expat funny enough I'm sitting at ekkamai now on the first bus of the day departing to pattaya haha. The answer is 0600 in the morning for anyone wondering. Thanks for replying! Good info in this video for sure, agreed on avoiding those death trap vans
@@codygosney976 cool man. You can buy your return ticket when you arrive. Even if it's a week later. Then show up 15 min before departure. Swap receipt for a seat

Do you mean the BTS Station Ekkamai? Yes they have a lift. I'd say 95% of the stations have an elevator to the street

@@kim-thule7483 I remember maybe 10 years ago they started adding lifts to all the stations. Hopefully, you'll have one when you travel this great city
