The Blessing Is In The Wisdom | Devotional | Proverbs

And now, O sons, listen to me: blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it. Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord, but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death. - Proverbs 8:32-36
Nothing is more exciting than an eager student, a ready disciple, a coachable player, and a willing son. This type of man has the highest potential for growth and change. And this person usually accelerates at speeds that surpass others. But notice that this disposition is incredibly potent when combined with godly wisdom. The combination of an eager man with divine wisdom results in great blessing. It's a simple equation. But the blessing is not just in the outcomes. The blessing is the relationship with wisdom itself. There is a blessing in learning, watching, finding, waiting, and obtaining wisdom. This is where the adventure is men. Right in the middle of the pursuit of wisdom. Not just the outcomes.
So, where in your life do you need wisdom? Name it. Right now. Say it out loud. Write it in the comments below. Let me and others pray that God shows you wisdom and gives you wisdom. And then don't focus so much on the outcome you want. Focus on the adventure of wisdom. Live in the moment and let wisdom do its teaching. And when the outcomes arrive, enjoy those too.
