    This is very helpful, I have somehow followed the Business Route into a Data Modeller,/analytics/ BI/Reporting Senior Manager, and looking to figure out what technical skills I need to pick if I want to go the Data Architect Route

      Hello, Thanks for the feedback. Based on your background my 2 cents would be for you to aim to be a specialist Data Architect in the field of Big Data Analytics. Apart from big data skills, data design patterns is something you can pick up.

      Don't give up easily if it is what you want, sometimes a different route can lead to the same desired outcome.

    I’m currently being head-hunted by PwC for a Data Architect role. My background is Data Science / ML Engineer with 2.5 years of experience, one of which in consulting where I’ve done some DevOps and Data Engineering.
    For whatever reason I get the job, do you think it’s too early for it in my career. Also, would you recommend some learning materials ? Thank you

      @@SoftwareArchitectureAcademy How to resolve many to many relationships without using the Bridge table or Associative table or Link table in a normalized data model using any RDBMS (SQL server or Oracle etc..)?

    • @SoftwareArchitectureAcademy
      @SoftwareArchitectureAcademy  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Siva, the only way to do so without a third table (which is highly recommended way) is by adding a foreign key column in one of your table referencing primary key of the other table. You will also need to duplicate rows in the first table thereby making it one to many reln. This might actually work for you provided records are very less, else you might run into performance issues.

      Hi Nadir, it helps if an architect has from system engineering/coding background - atleast initial point in career if not recent. I am not saying without system engineering/coding knowledge it's impossible, but the curve might be steep.
