Don’t fall for this promotion guys I’m from one this Odinschool boot camp in data science and there are no placements i appreciate the course and it’s good for learning subject but they don’t provide you a placement

DSA question appears from company to company. In Amazon, ServiceNow and Salesforce for roles around Senior Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist my second round was around DSA didn't go up to trees but nonethless!
Wrong statements made here. DSA is critical for all decent paying roles. There were data science and decision science roles where it was not needed but FAANG is slowly deprecating these roles and you will see job positions for

totally agree bro, for switching domain from non data science to data science is also next to impossible. People sell such courses but the reality is far from truth.

Based on her experience seems like personlity and style also important for getting the opportunity. Data science job requires al lot of hard work.. alot. And alot of learning. Quite good coding knowledge is required for higher pay.
Currently in the market only experienced hiring is happening. As of March i see companies preferring only experienced candidates for data analytics opportunities.

I made around 150K Gross USD as a data analyst in California. However, net income was may less after deducting rent, tax, pensions and health insurance. So it was never 1 crore take home salary even in USA, i think the take home was between 60 to 70 lakh per annum. And i think if someone gets 25 lakh per annum in India thats as good as getting 150K USD in USA.

Why do the host believe that there are only 2 reasons for somebody to choose data profiles - 1) People might not be good with DSA 2) In Demand. I think there exists one more reason and that would be their "interests".
Im a software developer and I can create software that can give you data what analytics guy and BI guy will get you. What you going to invest in, 2 roles with many people with salary for many many years or 2 3 software developer?

@@user-ci3fr5rb2o You can definitely switch to data science but in long run there will be jobs cuts in this domain as I explained above. Everything can be done with softwares. And people will be switching to softwares for analytics. Yes decision making will be done via humans only, thus very less jobs. And most of the people who will be making decision on the data will be MBA grads.
Shame on these influencers there are no jobs right now for freshers but they want to sell their courses by showing dreams of 1-2 cr package
