Damn...last time i was this early ,
Johnny was still a big boi
Richie was wearing that olive gildan hoodie
And Tan was at H&M buying zipper pants...
Those Gildan hoodies are the greatest thing to ever grace this earth
@@saiyanprince2795 never had one...
Sandro Radulj It’s a really good cheap alternative to the H&M plain hoodies
@@saiyanprince2795 being so topical...i usually try to thrift or find vintage hoodies and crewnecks...
Saiyan Prince I prefer the H&M be CSU’s ether hold up better for like a couple bucks more. It’s like $20 against $12. I rather pay the 8 dollars for longer wear
“Go grab a item from your childhood” the reason I like vintage tbh
Same
Also please have Paul Cantu the thrift god he’s been in the game for years and has lots of knowledge
The Mad Writer is that locustandwildhoneh
Tyler Lee nah that’s his actual name / CZcams he’s big in the vintage community especially in Texas he’s made so many people want to thrift me included lol and he hates hype lol he’s very funny and very knowledgeable heres his CZcams czcams.com/video/jGtpSSMlCl0/video.html
I'm saying
Bro you so right Paul is the man and his style is one of a kind I dig it and the fact they didn’t pay homage to the king of thrift is fucked up
David G true but there hype beast
Coming from a thrift store reseller I understand the online vintage market but would rather be in the trenches. I do buy some vintage stuff online but most of my collection is straight from the charity shops. I can honestly have days where I find up to 3 or 4 vintage tees that I can flip for at least $150, and then I'll have days where I don't find any. I go for the thrill and for the hunt. There is no better feeling than finding an item you've wanted for so long in the trenches. It's a lifestyle I'm down for haha
"a lot of pop culture stuff, not just mainstream stuff"
Richie we all know those are two exact thing 😂
Right? He big tripping
🤡
Seriously pop culture is literally POPULAR culture come on cant get more mainstream than that
That’s insane paying triple the price of a shirt that’s printed on fruit of the loom. I love shopping vintage and the best thing about the hunt is finding it at goodwill and other thrift store and it’s sad that it’s now become a resellers business just like everything else
Oscar Martinez Melchor
Totally agree. Pages filled with resellers trying to squeeze every last cent out of a t shirt who aren’t interested in the community at all.
Facts!
When was it not a resellers business? I've been reselling vintage clothes for 8 years now.
Krills Daily exactly, 8 years is nothing lol, prices have gone up now from 15-20 years ago across any type of fashion. Resell prices even for sneakers weren’t even close to the prices now unless they were super rare. Paying 300 dollars for a t shirt that’s printed on front of the loom is wild
Krills Daily plus I’m more so talking about the prices not actually reselling
EARLEEEE! Of course Brandon is in this video he's down with the vintage style 🔥🔥🔥
You can tell this dude has some pieces he’s paid resell for. I take pride in my vintage collection and I don’t really like people who just jump in the game for the money and not the love of the hunt. Kinda how sneakerheads feel about bots and shit on SNKRS app.
matt waller All of them i believe lmao he doesn’t thrift lmao shirts are clean tho
Atleast this dude kinda sounds like what he knows what he’s talking about. I’m from a a kinda small town in Ohio and I’ve found over 100 fire pieces just at my local goodwill. I’ve found almost ALL of my grails except rap tees. But I’ve never bought a resell piece yet and I refuse too. I’m all about sourcing it myself.
Know a days resellers going on road trips for vintage shirts at thrift shops they did that where im from, havent found a nice piece in a long while
It's rare to actually find a vintage related video on YT that is both entertaining to watch and also informative.
And i love that you are looking at vintage more lately...its definetly a fun and inexpensive way to get fly...like for real, if you're broke , have a look, and you can find amazing items for super cheap...more than half my closet is vintage gear and is in my opinion fire flames...
This was amazing content. You guys are doing phenomenal work with this page!
gotta love the vibe brandon gives, i am a 100% down for more content with the homie!!
Been thrifting/collecting since 2013, the whole concept is changing.
I know others can agree that being “in the trenches” was/is apart of the love I have for this stuff. Waking up at sunrise heading to the most unexpected spots and that feeling of finding a grail for 50cents.
Online shopping was also an alternative when I wasn’t able to go out but never the preference.
All the hypebeasts are migrating to vintage and its taking away from the entire culture. A lot of resellers who aren’t interested in trading only squeezing as much money as they can from their finds.
Not to mention how hard it already is to find anything. Now with all the hype it’s gonna be impossible to find anything out and about anymore.
Online shopping at market value is soon to be the only option.
Yep the culture is getting over taken by the vultures. Sad to see.
You are from the future
`hypebeasts ruin everything
Same with sneakers.
@@ConductorWeHaveAProblem true
I think its funny that all the hypebeasts are getting bored of supreme etc because everyone has it and its too "saturated" so they are moving to the vintage scene not realising they are doing the exact same to vintage clothing too lol
Dope vid as always Richie! 🔥
I love the fact single stitch was brought up! I hopping and waiting for it. I have a 1990 Iron Maiden shirt the first 10 years. Great video men keep up the great work!
From being a collector reseller, to being a vintage seller, we definitely need more videos from brandon, seems like a genius when it comes to clothing and reselling
Davida0126 true he’s a good reseller but vintage collector he’s not
Yo, mans actually gave super helpful advice for me regarding the stitching breakdown. Thank you ❤
2 minutes early this is wild, thanks for the video guys!
Yoooo 🔥🔥🔥 those video game and cartoon vintage shirts are so fireeee especially the mortal kombat ones
You can tell when someone hasn’t put in any time in the trenches. Shit will humble you it’s not all sunshine and rainbows at rag/bins. I used to go deep meeting as many people as I could who were digging rag houses/bins/racks/estate sales, I would dig with them and that shit really made me appreciate the finds and this was just to collect I never bought with the intention to sell. there was days where you wouldn’t find anything then one bin comes out full of polo or band jackets and someone would go home with 3000$ worth of stuff but it was because they did the work even when nothing was coming out. It’s hard work sourcing in the wild imagine these guys have seen tens of thousands some even hundreds of thousands of pieces of clothes.
Rich my guy!! I need that summer collection 👀
This exactly what I was once asking Brandon in ig. Nice to see it a video bout it.
Sucks they didn't talk about that goosebumps shirt. That was fire! 🔥🔥🔥
bro i was thinking the same shit man
I’ve been into vintage blanks recently like hoodies and t shirts. the graphic stuff is fire but the blanks are kinda slept on imo.
Woohoo gonna watch this before sleepin 🔥
The reason it's expensive is because of the nostalgic feeling you get from those tees
single stitch was the norm in the US until roughly 95-97 where you see a lot of tees start becoming double stitch. Some like Brockum will have single stitch sleeves and a double stitch hem from that time period.
I believe that Europe also adopted the double stitch before the US in some cases, so you might see Euro tour shirts that are double stitched from like 93-95.
AllSport had single stitch on shirts up until 2003. I just got a 2003 dated one.
I get what you're saying, generally speaking. But AllSport was the last of vintage single stitch.
Definitely agree you can grab rare pieces that hold personal value that pop up randomly on eBay for like 20 bucks and guess what you won’t see another person wearing it anywhere. That’s what I love about vintage
I started getting into vintage clothes since the first time Richie talked about vintage clothes on his channel
This is why I fuck with Richie. He's got an amazing brand that is true quality and not to mention he's a top tier style artist. He makes videos that make sense, and people truly in the game feel and relate to. Keep up the work man, 2-year-old video, and vintage still going stronger than ever.
I agree with what he said about the nostalgia. I’m a huge wrestling fan so when I get vintage wwe and wwf tees, it’s a good feeling. Also finding a fire piece in the thrift after searching for hours is a good feeling too. It’s like finding buried treasure.
WWF man! Don't put WWE and vintage in the same sentence.
True definition of a hypebeast, "Supreme is oversaturated" so no longer wears supreme, Vintage is popular now so now only does vintage
Especially since he only buys them online 💀
Ye he doesn’t even thrift, he’s just buying marked up vintage and selling it for more. He don’t even got anything but shirts too.
*Andre* he’s not for the culture i hope they address these comments lmao and bring an actual vintage head like Paul Cantu or the person they are buying there vintage from lmao
100 percent facts these guys are dorks lol
so he basically buys resold vintage and then resells it again for even more lol
Fire content again keep it up🔥🔥🔥🖤
8:45 I totally agree. I make more at my job than It’s worth running to 5 thrift stores and maybe finding 1 thing that I like that would actually fit me. So I don’t go often but every couple weeks I hit my local spots, there’s no better feeling than finding something dope. And also there’s more to vintage than just tshirts. My collection of denim and jackets is probably bigger than my tshirt collection. Gotta diversify your style, rockin t’s everyday gets played out even if they are bangers.
So this is what happened to Zero after being released from Camp Green Lake.
Being “in the trenches” is 90% of the fun. It’s the thrill of the hunt.
Richie always hearts my comments❤️
Y’all make the best vids.
Damn all these hype beast coming into vintage 😳 welcome tho ! Everybody is unique
It’s the crazy ass graphics is why for me. Like everything was so much better in the 90s and 00s.
M R so tru and quality as well
“How bout be unique “ every CZcamsr buying vintage shirts for the last two years
😂😂
He’s acting like vintage isn’t the new hypebeast thing LOL he’s acting like he’s different lmaooo
@@eddie6354 Richie and tan are making their line imitate the old vintage look, and they're the biggest hypebeast. Its definitely hypebeast status.
Gilberto Flores Exactly if the prices weren’t like up to $500 none of them would be into it
@@eddie6354 theyre also the ones making them so inflated too. Making an temporary high demand on a limited commodity, since more can't be made/printed.
So much vintage heat in this video🔥.
i needed this one Guys this is my wave for sure . but he gave Priceless Game.🙌
So where do you get these resale prices from how do you know when a shirt is worth 500 bucks 🤔
When you put that Griffey clip in, hearing Dave Niehaus brought back so many memories.
I’m loving all the love for The Kid lately 🐐
I’m a vintage shirt collector, but I mostly go after stuff from the 70s & 80s. Some early 90s. Mostly vintage music tees & concert shirts.
I fully agree with the tag rule. As soon as I pick something up the tag is the first thing I check
Two vintage grails of mine are a Batman forever shirt, and a 2001 the fast and the furious tee embossed logo in front og poster on the back 🔥🔥
The Griffey shirt is gas 🔥
Do you guys wash the shirts & hang dry and iron or just leave the thrift smell on it when selling
We need hypetalk shopping! maybe even online shopping!
Dope vid 👌🏻
I’m always “in the trenches” going to flea markets, thrifts, and bins. It is hard work and most of the time I don’t find anything good with all of the competition but the search is hella addicting never knowing if today is your day.
All the hypebeasts bout to come into vintage
Great video. Brandon speaking the truth, snipe only
How much does a Hanes Heavy Weight 50/50 shirt go for? curious I have a San Antonio Tx Alamo dragway t shirt
Brandon - “The Supreme stuff was getting a little too saturated” **Makes a video about vintage, which is the most over saturated clothing trend right now**
Not imo bro! Vintage style has always been around, and it’s like any trend where it loses hype and then comes back. There’s always going to be a market for it!
Although it’s oversaturated I don’t think it’s overdone tbh ion think vintage will ever be overdone it’s just chill
Early gang 🔥
If y’all want some more vintage I recommend Paul Cantu, dude’s a god when it comes to this stuff
Thrifting OG
He’s sick
Daddy Cantu
Papi Cantu
IncineratingGlaive Paul doesn’t really have crazy grailers tho, mainly just has tees to make a quick flip. Just being honest🤷♂️
EARLY GANG BABY
The shirt look good on you Rich, can i know what brand is that.
I always look at the tag, cuz it determines the feel and thickness but most importantly the size. Brockum xl is different from fruit of the loom xl and so on. Number 2 is always looking at the year it came out on the copyright on the graphic which is when you'll know what time it came out from, what the band's album/tour they were on and so on. So imo the year is the most important cuz its more of a historic thing for me when collecting vintage tees.
Other things i consider is the condition. If it's more faded it's a plus for me. Some white tees have yellowing which is fine if it isn't too bad especially on the pitts. And also the condition of the collar. Some have bacon collars/bad collars.
Next is the band (i mostly collect band tees) which really decides the price. Some bands, tho might not be popular like nirvana, if their merch is rare can have crazy prices on their tees.
Not gonna lie man my biggest pet peeve is when people wear old rock bands vintage that they never listen to or heard of.... we gotta start checking people and be like yo name 5 songs to that band on your chest lol
Nobody cares lmao
Yo Richie are there websites Brandon recommends to get vintage items?
Flamed collection🔥🔥🔥
This is fire 🔥
That silver surfer tee goes stupid🔥
Broooooooo they really help out with these vids on how to dress and y’all sleeping rn 😴
That disneyland shirt goes hard
striking out aka trying to buy something from richie le collection. oh snap
fire video !
Wow Brandon’s shirt is 🔥🔥🔥
I absolutely love vintage I’ve spent tons mostly liquid blue tagged shirts
My guy Brandon is truly an expert
All the vids 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
NOTIFICATION GANG GANG
Just found my old 2 pac in memory of shirt I bought back in 96. Wow didn't think it would be worth that much. Still listed on ebay if anyone is interested. It's a long sleeve.
my boy brandonnnnn
where does tan get his flannels from? and he always be having nike middle swoosh tees man.
What happened to your tatts on the right arm or was this recorded before your tatts?
Brandon should make a CZcams channel blogging about vintage finds and videos vintage related
Ambert Rios Cruz he don’t thrift this just buys off resellers but if he did that would be cool
@@xMexicanxK I know he don't thrift, he said that in the video lol. I dont know what he would do if he had a vintage channel, but it would be dope. I like what he brings to the table
Ambert Rios Cruz true but has to gain more knowledge tho he doesn’t have that much
5:00 you wouldnt want it to look brand new for a $250 vintage tee
Yes you would.....
Dope video, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Hope to see more videos like this because we haven't even gone to the cow and chicken realm yet!
I really appreciate the information in this video, but I want more vintage videos 👍🏼👍🏼
Richie we need a video about summer shorts!
great video one question tho how do i price items i find?
How do you determine pricing and market at the end of the day?
NEEEEEED that Disney Fireworks Tee in a L or XL 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
that Zoolander tee the craziest one to me 🔵🔥🔥🔥🔥
I agree 100 percent, nostalgia over hype. Vintage pieces and style should be more personal 👌🏾👌🏾
Does he screenprint or heat press?
Finally could get to know Brandon he has hella knowledge more vids with him
Great video!
Remember folks, V.O.E. - Vintage Over Everything, haha.
For real tho, tags are King in vintage. If it ain't OG, it ain't OG.
Need to get me some vintage tees 🔥🔥
That kiss shirt is a grail 🔥🔥🔥
vintage is going crazy
Are most vintage screen printing or heat press
