Dlo was great against GS boosted his stock ALOT. Then the way he looked against Denver changed all of that

@@saidsuka184 Rui didn't produce "to the end", at the end maybe. He was average during the regular season but caught fire in the Grizzlies and Nuggets series. He struggled against the Warriors. Rui and DLO's playoff gamelogs look a lot more similar than people think.

Dlo was very inconsistent and that’s what hurts. Get your hopes up then let you right back down. Dlo also takes a lot more shots than rui, so when he has an off night, it can really cause us to lose. Dlo was a starter and rui came off the bench and started one game. Expectations are different…

I don't think people understand how little games the new Laker squad played together. they played a total of 41 games together and that's including the playoffs. Where lebron missed over 10 and Dlo missed around 6 or 7 due to injury. with a training camp and a 82 game season they'll probably look a lot better come playoff time.

game 4 I believe the lakers were down by 11 or 12 he pulls up and hits 3 back to back 3's they don't win that game without him. And game 6 was so much of a blowout they started playing bench players by the 5 min mark in the 3rd. the Statistics don't show the full spectrum of a player's Value.

It doesn’t matter how good you are in the regular season, if you always choke in the playoffs.
That’s gonna hurt your value no matter who you are, & DLo needs to own that.

I think he is potentially undervalued but we can’t act like we haven’t had players in the past play exceptionally in the regular season to always fold under the pressure of the playoffs. It’s something most players need to eventually overcome but some don’t. I’m all for giving D-Lo another chance to prove himself but until we see in the playoffs what we saw in the regular season he doesn’t deserve that much more than what they gave him. I love D-Lo too but this is a business and if u don’t perform on the biggest stage u shouldn’t get the biggest bucks 🤷🏾♂️

He literally got benched in Game 1...
Nothing wrong with thinking Reaves is better or will be better going forward, but I brought up recency bias because DLO was averaging more in the playoffs going into the Nuggets series and averaged more than Reaves post All-Star break. Not to mention his 5+ straight years of 18ppg production...
