I was trying to stick to 1 pen purchase per year . I did it for 3 years - then since january ive bought 4 pens lmao 🤣 more than doubling my colllection . Im pretty picky , but my God Sailor pens really get to me too. Thank you for sharing , and i look forward to watching your pen collection video!
You have a stunning collection from what you've shown in this video. Wow!! Great video, and I look forward to seeing more of your collection in future videos!
Love your video Jatz! 🤎 I love that you said you don’t have a “grail” pen. I only started collecting mid-year last year and I’ve found that I don’t have a grail pen, and for some reason had in my mind you *had* to have a grail pen 😂 it’s made me feel better that I’ve got my favorites but you don’t *need* to have a limit on what you love 🫶🏼
Wonderful video; seeing your Sailors makes me very excited for my first one. I’ve heard they’re quite addicting and your videos is another piece of evidence that it’s so 😁😁😁!!
Thanks for the summary of your pen journey. Mine also began with a Pelikan, a student model given me by a friend of the family when we were stationed in in Germany in 1970. I have long since misplaced that pen, but have continued to use fountain pens since then. Collecting really took off for me during the pandemic. Inks: Schaeffer cartridges until college. My first bottled ink was Parker Quink, which I used for years. Then, about 30 years ago I discovered that while I couldn't afford a Mont Blanc pen, writing with their ink was well within reach. Then Waterman, for years. Now, I love the exploration, and finally am willing to risk pigmented and shimmer inks -- which is why Jinhao is an important element in my collection. Not putting glitter in my Yard-O-Led!!! As to Grail Pen: fittingly out of reach. A maki-e Namiki Emperor. What a dream!
Lmaoo the epitome of "what's yours is mine" with that first Pelikan ehehehe I also deep-dived straight into Sailor and was initiated into the cult immediately 🫡 Super lovely video ✨AS ALWAYS✨, Jatz 🫶
Thank you for sharing your journey. Can't wait to see your collection!

Yes I too hope to own a Mont Blanc soon. And totally agree on using less expensive pens with shimmer - never with the grails 😬😊
